yes dr chiu says it is easy to get 流感 and he advised to take injection for 流感 in coming oct (cuz i didnt let my sons take this injection before).  hope anson and auman will go to school tomorrow.

2. k1的功課多嗎? 會否很吃力?
- 看怎樣比較, 比起一些play school 來說功課一定多, 但比較其他多功課的學校來說就唔係多. 根德下學期才開始寫字, 一星期一次, 近兩個月增加為一日一遍.  功課量係OK o架,

根德只會要求小朋友能力範圍內做到的事, 鼓勵小孩自學　

3. 據知kent是完全沒有親子活動的, 其實對小朋友是否不太好?
無錯, 係無親子戶外活動既.  我最初也不喜歡, 後來也想通了, 謂何交學費要來做親子活動? 假日已經係親子日了.

4. 各位小朋友返學開心嗎?

放心啦! 我開頭也有你的憂慮, 不過慢慢覺得Kentville好, 而家仲好認同佢地的做法. 佢地也不像傳聞中咁死板. 而且小兒很喜歡返學.

Auman今日好番未呀？Anson就仲有微燒，呢2日都未可以返得學。昨天打左俾miss Wong,佢都話班內有幾個同學病左，有d仲成個禮拜無返學，佢叫我今日去學校取功課及通告。

auman has no more fever since last night.  but for save, i will let him stay home for one more day.  sometimes auman complains the classroom is too cold.  u know when they arrives school, they are wet already.  maybe thats why they get cold easily.

Nice to hear auman is well. We all need to be carefull. I take my little one to the doctor once I noticed something wrong with him. Wishing Anson getting well soon.

I have the same problem as well. Me or my husand accompanied my little boy to do the homework when we got back from work, but always end up slagging. Now I phone home to get him to do the homework himeself and  awarded him a sticker. From every ten stickers he'll get a prize of anything he likes. He's now much better.

I asked my son he told me Ms So taught him above Maths: 1+1=2,1+2=3,1+3=4,1+4=5 ......1+10=11
Counting: 1-30  and teacher give him some little balls to count additional and deduction maths. He know 5-1=4,4-1=3,3-1=2-2-1=1,1-1=0
Chinese is very good ,can teach me how to said accurate sound of word..and write very fast and good for drawing picture..

He teach me at home. I pretented a student, he pretented a teacher and write a boxes on my little blackboard at home : A __ C__ E__ F__...
he call me to write down the answer.

I send him to KUMON, the teacher give him do K2 homework...in Maths. and Learning full sentences in English class eg.:I like watermelon, She wears shoes on, This is a helicoper/train/airplane, she is a nurse/teacher.  
I think Kentville is a good foundation for pre-primary school in famous school because I found that he likes to do paper works and exercise.  The school is not enough for him.  He finished in few miniutes.
Actually, you ask you kid to draw pictures on a A4 paper, you can write down a ship/TV/Truck/Car/airplane/table.....let you kid to draw by himself if you have time.  
I am pround of my son, his handwritting has a great improvement during this year.

My son is very active in class, but he will ask you if he want to do something very polite and he said boys give way to girls first. Teacher teachs him to be a  little gentleman.  He is talkactive and likes to do science experiment at home.  I knew his teacher will teach him what can float or sink this week.
Last month, he was learning recyled thingsand recyle bins color.
Blue for paper, yellow for can, brown for plastic.

For Art, he knows above brownish yellow, light green, dark blue, skin colour, grey and golden colour...
Reading books: he read human's body book (telling bone,heart, brain, lungs, skin...), Recyle book, plants grow up book, Don't be lazy, Be polite, color monster story,...Those books from school are so creative.

I think you cannot easy to get angry with your kid because he just 4 yr-old.  you must say your writting is very good, can you write for me.  He love this sound becasue my son told me he write / draw for teacher . Then he will draw very carefull and very nice.  Dont push him like that , put away your fire!!
Go into your bedroom and wait for him. He will do it by himself. Talk with your lovely son "well done, good job all the time. Remember he is just 4.  Better than  many kids .....he can draw a square, very good.!!

K1 in kent = K2 level...
Teacher told me they have 2hours in English and 1 hours in chiness&maths.
In english class, teacher asked them to do exe. in english. I test with my son, he understanding english very good. I talk with him in english , he can translate into chiness..

I think 4 year-old boy can learn much from your parent, if you talk with him in english, he can speak english well.  If you talk cantoness, he talk cantoness.  If you talk putonghua, he learns from you.  Because it is his mothertougue.
Also your kid is young and can change very fast in langauge.  The important things is : must train his personality and can seat and listen, secoundly , reading and writing is very important too.  It can help your son to express himself by writing or drawing or speaking.  
First of all, he can speak fluent in cantoness, he can learn fluent in other language more easy becasue we are living in hong kong.  Chiness is very important.  If you are chiness, you cannot speak chiness.  you will be laughed.
