上次Christmas請假我都係send個email俾Miss Fisher通知佢咋,另我有send email俾Chinese teacher,問佢有無假期功課,佢就可以等我去旅行前俾功課我,唔洗放完假積一大堆嘢.

Btw, I slipped and fell and sprained my right ankel last Sunday and have been hospitalised until 2 days ago.  I had an operation and added 2 screws in my ankel.  Now I can only walk on my left leg (hopping with the aid of a walking frame).  The doc expected that I can only try to walk on both legs (with crutches) next month.  So I will have a long holiday at home.

I will play with Alicia for 3 days before my business trip in Japan.
Then my husband will play alone with her for the rest of two days la… hee…
In fact, I only take one-day annual leave so my boss approved.

If the kid is unwilling to do homework and read books, it will be EVEN WORSE to put him in an international school or too active-approach school. (My personal view only)

Where are you?  Are you very busy to take care of your little daughter? Are you excited to have the result in June?  Will it be announced on June 8 or June 9?

TSLiu, sumyinmama and danielboy,
Alicia’s concentration is poor.  If I am sitting in front of her, she can do everything well.  If not, she even can’t read books because she will skip the words and lines.  The Chinese teacher told me that she could merely write seven words in class while some of classmates may complete the whole page (approx. 30 words).  It is not related to her writing ability.  It's the problem with her concentration.  Definitely she was chatting with someone else.

Yeah, it's really painful and my foot is as swollen as a pig's leg!  But I feel a bit better these 2 days and no need to take pain killers all the time.  Valerie is worrying about me all the time after the accident.  And she was so brave to hold back her tears in front of me (she is a "crying bread" indeed).

I agree with your view about int'l school.  My younger son Jeremy is restless, curious and too energetic (perhaps a bit hyper-active).  His pre-nursery teacher has warned me that IS is not suitable for him as he definitely needs more discipline!!!
