08 SPN discussion is very rich because we had KaHeiBaBa explaining every step of the process, i remember reading 07 discussion before too, but i cant find it anymore... will continue to search for more info!

我個　ｆｒｉｅｎｄ　於入面教，　佢話收到信都代表收的，　interview 都只係見下面, 但我估, 如果 interview時, bb 表面太差勁既, 唔取錄都唔定~! 因為冇野係絕對的.

however combined with this comment from another parent already in SPN

恭喜你地。其實你們真的不用太擔心﹐SPN一般有得interview﹐就真係差不多99%入到架啦。記得我女女05年interview時﹐我和我先生與老師一邊傾談﹐我個女就一邊將老師比佢既玩具大大力全部倒落地﹐
然後問Daddy 拿糖吃。我先生為免佢再製造麻煩﹐就真的在老師面前給她糖吃 - 激死我﹐仲諗住一定唔得…..現在﹐我的女兒已經讀N3了。

so maybe, it really depends on our parents' performance during interview...
