Hi,

My son will join Think's LN in Oct (Nam Tin branch) and I am so glad there is a topic about all the branches of this school.

Can any moms share their experiences about "toilet training"? My son has not quitted his diaper yet. Actually I have not started yet.   If he still needs to use the diaper when school starts, would there be any problems? Are the teachers/janitors nice to kids who still uses diapers? Thanks.

Don't worry too much.  I don't have any problem in MeiFoo branch so I think it's ok in NamTin branch too.

My son was not quitted his diaper when he was in LN.  I let him wear 紙底褲 and the teacher/staff helped him to change when they found it was wet.

I suggest you talk to the teacher/staff and understand their flow and method.

請問think有k1全日班嗎？學費如何？有其他雜費收嗎e.g書薄費......？我個仔出年讀k1唔知揀邊間學校好！有d媽咪介紹根德園，話小一網絡好；有d話york英文勁，升小無問題，甘你地讀緊think又覺得學校教英文程度如何,k3可以看英文故事書嗎？升小派位理想嗎(唔係國際小學)？中文數學能力如何？好亂！心大心細！請比d意見幫下我！help me！

Yes, there is full day from N1 to K3, $5000 per month, there is book fee as well.  Full day class (half day English and half day Chinese) is the strength of this school.  You can simply visit the school, take a look at the kids, teachers and the materials, the primary schools allocation etc. to see if they meet your expectations.  A lot of info. have been given by many parents in previous messages of this topic.

Hi Maria

Thanks. Is the "paper underpants" you mentioned the same as the "training pants"? (The same material as a diaper, but the kid/parents/helper can pull it up/down?

Yes.

The students will be asked to go to toilet regularly per day.  It doesn't matter if they don't have weewee.  It just helps the children to have a concept and be a habit if they're ready.

The school staff will helps the children to pull down the "training pants".  Later, the children will be asked/teached to do it by themselves.

我都是打算囝囝讀半日，唔知仔仔會不會今年９月同妳仔仔一班，我仔仔每朝 7:30起床，8:15要上校車 (因我家油塘是第一站). 那天仔仔唱了兩首日文超人歌，是爸爸的超人VCD主題曲．他很喜歡跟著唱．另仔仔都讀了差一年LN, 都是劉先生做班主任冇轉過．

講起校車, 本來開學果陣, 我都有考慮比亞仔搭校車架! 不過我問過學校, 如果搭校車的話, 校車會0係12:20pm到屋企樓下; 我諗諗, 嘩下午班13:15上堂, 咁亞仔咪好早上車遊車河or返到學校?! (我都係住油塘) 所以我家吓日日自己接送.

E?! 唔知九月會唔會同你仔仔一班喎!

我記憶中通告好似18/7號係家長日, 跟住就係26/8新一年的師生見面日.
可能UN班同LN班唔同掛?!
我亞仔都係九月先開學, 暫時未知邊一班, 因為我仲未問湯主任.

原來妳都是住油塘, 妳全職媽咪可以自己接送真是好呀, 為什麼要早咁多上車? 可能司機送回小朋友返家以後就立刻接小朋友走, 而我仔仔上車及返家都是第一個上/下車, 約12:15-20p.m. 便回家, 所以都覺得o.k.

其實我都可以叫工人接送, 但我家商場行到家要十幾分鐘, 放學時間又好似要等好耐才有專線小巴到商場, 所以怕仔仔倦及肚睋. 因他通常12:30要食午餐了.

今早同仔仔返體操,真的見很多家長到學校呀.

我都唔清楚點解校車要咁早上車, 我估可能係第一站掛?! 不過放學的話, 校車就可以16:30到屋企樓下, 我估可能下車第一站掛?!  

我住高翔苑, 每日行落廣場下面搭小巴, 由屋企到小巴站需時5分鐘; 至於等車方面, 有時好快就有車, 但有時等好耐先有車; 近排唔知係咪天氣熱, d人懶得行路, 多左好多人搭呢條線的小巴, 所以成日都爆棚上唔到車.      

其實校車有校車好, 一來唔駛自己去接送, 慳好多時間; 二來落雨的話, 校車直接到屋企樓下, 小朋友唔會比雨淋漏.

不過我覺得校車時間早左d之外, 要考慮的, 就係我個仔坐唔定; 佢坐校車的話, 一定比個保姆鬧鬼死!       

其實e+都習慣囉, 加上有幾個同學仔都係住油塘, 日日一齊搭車返學放學, 有個伴, 又唔覺辛苦, 仲好happy添.

因為LN班係8月8日返學, 所以要早d有家長日, 等校長/主任介紹學校及新生返學要注意既事.  由於我囡囡係5月中插班, 所以老師要佢係9月先返學, 唔使見到其他小朋友喊, 而且8月份都冇乜野教. 只係比新生適應.
