Hi all mums,

Thank you for all your supports to Kenneth.

In fact, I feel a bit reluctant to say goodbye to his existing pre-nursery nearby where we live in July, it is a very good kindergarten indeed. Kenneth will be a big boy (3 years and 7 months) for K1 this year, hope he can cope well. It seems AK is not accepting a lot of kids for K1 this year (either AM or PM class). A lot of kids are on waiting list...

I have not attended the parent classes on Sunday for quite awhile... as just busy with my assignments, will finish the course after May 7. See you then... :  :

宣幼好似係該年有幾多班k3畢業, 就會收幾多班新k1.  今年好似係只有3班k3, 所以無去年咁收4班k1咁多. 所以我諗競爭比較大.

昨日彥彤在學校喊, 因為她不穿校褸就放學, 所以黎老師話她. 她模仿黎老師話她的情景. 好搞笑. 最後彥彤乖乖穿回校褸才可放學.
平日唔係自己接放學, 唔expect老師咁細心, 對小朋友要求咁高, 我以為都已經放學, 仲點會晒氣去叫小朋友著返件褸. 我有點感動

I think only 1 AM class for K1 this year and 2 to 3 PM classes.. I actually met a parent who has helped to receive the application forms last year, she told me there were about 2000 applications and the interviews were arranged for several Saturday weeks....My friend's kid just received a waiting list letter..

想問下你kenneth報考宣幼時,application form問你會否考慮下午班, 你如何答呢? 如果答不考慮會否機會細一些呢?

浚彥上次是考到下午班, 好辛苦先轉到上午班, 我好怕細佬又要煩.

On the application form, we just ticked "AM", the reason is Vincent is at "AM" class.

During the interview, the teacher has asked me would I only prefer "AM" class and I said "yes" because it would be easier for us to handle.  I did not realise there was only 1 "AM" class this year until another parent told me so. I was thinking maybe the chance of accepting Kenneth would be much less by preferring only "AM" class.

But "AK" teachers are nice and considerate, they have offered me "AM" class so I think it does not really matter if you say only "AM", you can tell to the teacher at the interview that it is easier to handle both kids who attend "AM" class and they would understand the situation. But to be safe, maybe you can also say it does not really matter "AM" or "M" but "AM" is most preferred. I would have said that if I have known there is only 1 "AM" class this year.
