囝囝今年 nov 足 2-yr 可以讀 pn, 我想同佢 apply think,
但我唔係好清楚 think 係咪好似英基果類國際學校咁... 一條龍?
因為其實我只想 bb pn 讀 think,
幼稚園k.1我想bb apply 吓國際, 根德.....
然後讀返直資/資助小學!  (我諗即係小一統一派位果 d)

或者, k1 - k3 都讀 think, 咁小學仲有無機會小一統一派位???
or 小學一定要讀返國際學校??  thanks!

THINK用不同名稱代表PN及K1-K3：
Lower Nursery (LN) = pre-nursery
Upper Nursery (UN) = K1
Lower Kindergarten (LK) = K2
Upper Kindergarten (UK) = K3

UN其實每日主要用中文教學，有少少英文係唱歌部份。
然後K1-K3就有幾個組合：
半日班 - 雙語 / 國際
全日班 - 雙語 / 國際 / 雙語+國際

雙語： 每天用中英文各半教學
國際： 每天全部用英文教學
雙語+國際： 上午用英文教學，其間有15-20分鐘普通話時間，午飯後就用中文教學

幼稚園畢業後，如果你有讀國際班，就可以報讀THINK既國際小學，但唔係一條龍架。如果你有讀雙語班，你亦可以報讀普通小學，參加小一統一派位、考直資、考私校，任你喜歡。但係如果你無讀雙語班，我覺得你就唔好讀普通小學，因為無點讀過中文既話，你讀普通小學時會好辛苦。另外，係將近升讀LK時，你可以選擇轉讀THINK國際小學既Reception班，即係一般國際小學既4歲班，之後就一心一意跟住國際學校呢條路讀上去啦。不過我唔記得係唔係必須要UN有讀國際班先可以咁轉過去。

應該如無意外, 我個囡11月會入讀nursery啦, 希望到時佢都會enjoy啦     

另外... 請問妳地既仔女讀緊K未呀? 妳地選擇左國際班or雙語班呀?

You are welcome!  Our kids are studying in full day UN (K1) now, will promote to LK (K2) by September.  There are lots of activities we can meet together (such as seasonal festivals), and
I also enjoy very much going out with the whole class to help in their outdoor activities, such as visit to parks, pet shops etc.

Hope your daughter enjoys her school life soon, just remind you that N1 kids easily get sick during the first few months of school, yet this is a "must" for all kids when they start school.

My son is studying in Think Kln Tong, whole day Reception class (K2) right now. The kids english standard are pretty high. My son can read the Oxford reading tree level 4 by himself. But, u needs to concern is the really bad chinese........

My son is in the same class of WYmom's daughter.  They're in UN 全日班 - 雙語+國際.  My son is very happy in school too.

I hope your daughter like this school too.

另外... 想請問...  讀think既國際班, 我唔擔心囡囡英文進度! 但妳地覺得囝囡中文學成點呢?? 讀全日讀埋中文, 小朋友enjoy嗎? 又無叫辛苦呀??

For Chinese learning, it is similar to local school, need to recognize some words, learn Maths concept in Chinese, and write Chinese words starting K1.  Just 1 hour per day, may not be enough.  But my daughter do like Chinese characters, she feels just like drawing.  I think it will be better to teach more at home, or when going out, there are so many Chinese words everywhere, easy to learn!

我參觀過九龍塘小學Preparation Class, 普通話程度真的很好﹐只有些少生字到嘴邊一時忘記﹐流暢非常﹐何只是日常應對﹐用來講故事﹐解釋事情都卓卓有餘。他們一天不是講英文就是講普通話﹐所以兩方面都好好。所以我之前講朗思既語文程度真的不差。

或者我補充說明一點﹐我參觀既係小學預備班﹐唔係九龍堂幼稚園分校﹐等同幼稚園既K3。

我記得有媽媽講過﹐朗思到了K3就會全普通話上課﹐唔知岩唔岩呢﹖

At Mei Foo branch, there is Mandarin class everyday for full day students starting from K1 until K3.  However, for half day students, there will be only 2 classes of Mandarin each week starting K2 to K3.  So Mandarin of full day kids will be better.

At Think (Kln Tong) Preparation Class (K3), will used mandarin and english for whole day class.......and have an half hr mandarin lesson for Reception class (K2) everyday. It's a little bit different than other branch as i know it's only 2 mandarin lesson per week for K2 such as Think Laguna City branch.

a little bit info : the school fee for Think Kln Tong (TIS) is the most expensive one which compared to other branch. 但全線最優秀的老師都系kln tong分校教.

On fees, Kln Tong charges 10 months but other branches charges 11 months.  So it is better to compare on a yearly basis.  Kln Tong's fee is higher than other branches only by $4K per year approx.

On teachers quality, can you pls tell us how do you know that those at Kln Tong branch are the "best"?  How do you define them to be "best"?  Is this told by the principal?  

I have seen how the teachers teach in Kln Tong kinder, I don't think they are very different from those at other branches.  Only the school hours are different and Kln Tong has more mandarin daily.

你可以打電話去問下佢地full左未，12月先足2歲，佢地會安排你係2歲先返學。
2歲班(LN﹞雙語班係美孚唔係普通話同英文，係廣東話同英文的，不過佢地好多時有的兒歌係普通話的，而且普通話老師成日都會同的小朋友傾下計。
