Also, I have something to share and Please bare with me coz ... may not sound nice.....

Some may say
" oh... I did't wear approperiately"
" oh... my address is not perfect"
" oh.. perheps it's our occupation"

To me, I hate the fact that people judge me or my family base on those factors... but the REALITY is.... MOST OF THE PEOPLE ON EARTH DO!!!!!!
It's part of the game... no matter how much you don't like it....
Just imagine when your son goes for a job interview.. would you tell him to put on a nice ( not expensive, but decent) suit?? Becuase you know people often judge others by outlook. (I'm not saying it's right)
Yes, Kids don't need suit... but they need to be neat and decent and so do you!

People judge others by where they live.... let's say you met a person and you know he/she lives in South bay.... would you think he/she's kinda rich?

Sorry.... I agree... education shouldn't be like this... but, it's a BUSINESS to them ... they wanna be able to have students who they can refer to later on.... that's why it's called " For profit independent Kinder"

It isn't fair... right? BUT we all know we don't live in a IDEAL world.. LIFE is somehow UNFAIR, right???
Also, if we wanna complain .... I 'd go for

My son was rejected by kv not even waiting list, i felt a little upset although that was what i expected cos his performance was not really good. However yycs and sjc accepted him i already felt so happy and already paid the registration fee, i am also waiting the result from sc, however his performance in sc was even wrost in kv, so i think he is also going to reject by sc, however there still have good school accepted him (like yycs), i already feel so good.

Can you kindly share with us how to find out the DETAILS of each kindy - class size, teachers (their love & qualification), the mission of the schools and their curriculum...etc?

I don't know whether it is true or not.  A KG's teacher told me that most of KGs would consider the behaviour of parents during the interview.  A very high portion of marks would be given to the parents.  They think that KG is only a portion of the child's life, the family education is also very important.  Moreover, the KG's teacher said that some experience interviewers have the ability to select the right candidates in a glance, the questions asked in the interview were just for reference purpose.

That is good, at least I won't have false hope anymore!  They reject me maybe because my kid is really really small who was born at the end of Dec 04

1.我估住係有校車既路線著數d, 因為kv除左賺妳的學費還可以賺埋車費.
2. 如個有弟弟妹妹又可能好d, 因為收左家姐或哥哥日後唔夠學生比佢地選擇都有呢d細佬妹做後備, 免除收生不足的危機, 但日後有好學生的話, d學位又未必留返比呢d細佬妹, 所以有家長話阿哥讀緊但又唔收細佬.
3. 還有父母既職業都好緊要, 專業人士背景可以提升佢地的校譽, 因為可以誤導他人讀親佢地學校的係非富則貴.

依據各位所講, 有d小朋友表現好又唔收, 有d冇反應唔出聲又收, 好有可能係上述呢d原因.

但又有d家長話自己也不乎合上述條件又收左佢個小朋友, 原因好簡單, kv一年咁多學位, 先收晒乎合上述要求既學生, 餘下學額就輪到妳地囉, 所以小朋友係大仔或細仔根本冇分別,  重有佢地咁樣做可以話比人聽佢地沒有特定條件收生, 是考慮各方因素, 如細仔醒目就收, 大仔冇反應一樣唔收, 有哥哥家姐但表現唔好都唔收, 父母有愛心就收, 唔關心小朋友就唔收, 還有很多借口可以解釋比妳地呢班失望既家長聽, 投訴都冇用, 佢地收得咁雜, 妳地根本捉唔到佢地的痛腳.

之前都有好多家長投訴interview既安排, 但又如何, 總之佢地唔憂冇學生, 老牌名校就係咁, 有佢講冇人講, 一日冇人影響到佢收生, 佢地都唔會改進, 都係唔好講咁多, 費事教精佢. 各位家長, 自己醒少少啦, 呢間學校值唔值得讀, 睇妳點睇啦, 我就認為佢唔收妳個仔或女, 係妳好彩, 求位就無謂啦, 不如揾間非牟利學校用埋學卷慳d錢比仔女學野好過啦.

I'm also a working mother.  My son was accept on the 1st round last year.  Most of his classmates have working mother too.  KV has not bias about working parent.  Please claim down.   

KV is very good for working mother, because they learn all in school.  We just need to do very little at home.  They also don't have outdoor activities need parent to participate.

我諗唔會掛, 我姪女都係讀緊KV,我家姐同姐夫都係要返工, 我自己都有3,4個朋友既小朋友都係讀KV,父母都要返工架! 返而我朋友係全職媽咪,KV 都無收佢個女, 其實係香港有幾多媽媽係可以唔洗做呀! 我諗唔係好門關事既!
其實INTERVIEW既嘢好難講, 好睇彩數既! 唔好咁勞氣啦!! 如果真係好想入既, 不如試吓寫封信去學校,可能有機會架!
