The new complex will be finished in 2008/2009, but it's just the proposal.
Work load is heavy for most famous schools, not just GH.

You said the girls meant the applicants?  So, how come they were 'super punished' by the teacher?      Did they do something wrong?  I'm very curious and quite interested in it (you may say that I'm so, 'pat kwa').  Would you mind describing with much more details?

德望億元重建小學部校舍

全港小學最遲於○九學年轉為全日制，其中創校五十二年的著名直資小學校德望學校(小學部)，去年亦開始重建校舍，密鑼緊鼓籌備轉制工作。該校小學部校長梁銀禧修女表示，重建校舍工程耗資逾一億元，預計三年後完成，新校舍將增加十五個課室及一個室內標準泳池，供中、小學生使用。

梁銀禧昨在該校五十周年校慶開放日時表示，學校轉為全日制後將共有三十班，但舊校舍只有十五個課室，不敷應用，因此去年在原址重建校舍，現已拆卸了位於九龍扎山道的校舍。重建校舍期間，該校會借用直屬中學德望學校的校舍。

環保建築 設泳池

新校舍會採用環保建築的概念，屆時將增加十五個課室，電腦室及一個室內標準泳池。「中學已有一個露天泳池，所以希望小學部有一個室內標準泳池，供中、小學部學生使用。」梁修女說。

重建工程費用逾一億元，需由校方及辦學團體籌募。她表示，中、小學舉辦步行籌款活動，而小學部籌得的款項會用作重建校舍。該校明年小一入學申請經已截止，共接獲約九百人申請，競逐二百一十五個學額，約四人爭一位，所有人已進行面試，預計下月中有結果。

與兩內地中學結姊妹校

本學年正式出任德望學校(中學部)校長的陳韾昨表示，該校已與兩所內地中學結為姊妹校，並計畫日後每年增結一所姊妹校，「今年希望與新加坡一所女子中學結為姊妹校。」她又透露，「三三四」學制下該校將開辦十三至十四個選修科，推行新學制期間，學校將研究增加學費。

該校開放日獲教育統籌局局長李國章、考試及評核局副秘書長張永明、校友兼立法會議員梁劉柔芬等主持儀式。記者任顓瑩

Thanks for the news clipping, lots of good information. However, I am now wondering if GHS is private or 直資? I always think it is private but the news clip said it is 直資?

My daughter (English Kindergarten in YL) will be no. 18 being accepted by GHS. However, we still wait to participate in the draw in the second round in June, if we register tomorrow, are we still entitle to the draw?

GHS (Primary School) is private. However, GHS (Secondary School) is  直資?  Most of the GHS Primary student can enter to scondary school except poor academic / conduct student(s).

GH primary section is private but secondary section is DSS.

I must concern about those items which show below before go to register P1 ...

1) School Fee too expensive -- over 3000 x 10 per year [compare with other Whole day Private famous Primary school]
2) Just only ~20 classrooms for primary school in secondary school
3) I can't see the new primary school will be built in a few years
4) Less extra activities after school because of PM/AM policy
5) No NET teacher and the teacher / student ratio is not good enough
6) Most Parents from PTA have pigeon eyes
7) AM for P2,4,6 / PM for P1,3,5....
8) Some girls will be changed to TB oftenly in Secondary

其他唔知，呢樣就我有個同事個女讀到中三，搞同性戀，嚇到佢拿拿聲送個女去外國讀書。
之不過同間學校冇直接關係嘛?
