No worry, summer hasn't come yet.  If you set up a plan to do it this summer, you will not worry NOW, right?

I started "demo" how to go to toilet with AliBB the past few weeks, i.e. she goes to the toilet with me and observes how I complete the whole process.  You can start this "mental preparation" during spring, and work out the exercises in summer.  Babies will be very happy if we let them really "do" what they have observed for weeks...

(note - ours is girl, much easier for the "demo" "mental preparation", right?     )

Have you got any baby books about potty training?  Better to have 1, read with her several times, and later in summer, we can ask her to bring the book to the toilet and follow what the book tells her....

Have you bought the potty already?  I have tried 3 brands (combi, fisher price, and a local brand), and the best is the cheapest I found in a small local store...    [size=xx-small](I tried them myself...   )

If you don't know how to start potty training, you could sign up the MCH class (1.5-2yr, or 2-3yr) and ask the nurse at the class.

I stopped flash cards for long time...  so dunno exactly how you could revisit all the old cards...  but for the words I taught AliBB earlier, I always practise with her from time to time and in different situations, making sure that she understands the meanings and could apply the words in different situations correctly.

They are montessori preschools which are different from normal schools (registered with montessori ass.).
All materials and teachers are strictly montessori trained.

Hi pangpuiyee,
I dont revisit the cards that I had done even he cant remember.
I will use them for stage 2 & 3.
I also practise with him in daily life when I see the real things.
I dont really know how much he actually knows but as long as he thinks it's fun I will keep going!
Hoyin does say a lot of words that I used to show him on flash cards (I didnt teach him any other places).
I m very amazed how much he has stored in his little head (he actually has a big flat head).
Add oil!!!!

1. Montessori School of Hong Kong (Mid-Levels)
2. Nan Guang International School (Sheung Shui)
3. Small World Christian Kindergarten (Borrett Road)
4. Woodland Montessori Pre-School (Kam Kin Mansion)
5. Woodland Montessori Pre-School (Mid-Levels)
6. Woodland Montessori Repulse Bay Pre-School (Repulse Bay)
7. The International Montessori School (Wanchai)

You can call and arrange visit to these schools and understand their pre-school Montessori program.  However, some local kinders also mention they use Montessori in their program, but dunno how serious they are and how the program incorporates other systems.

係呀, 有d 學校話佢地係用 Montessori program, 不過其實了解完之後我又唔覺得囉
