今日同囡囡學彈琴個朋友仔媽咪傾,
宣道收左佢仔仔 (11月細仔, 讀 St. Catherine 幼稚園).

另外囡囡學游水既朋友仔---兩個孖女 讀 宣道幼稚園),
亦都 OK, 可以直升 P.1

Tomorrow is the registered date of the successful candidates. Why is there rumor that the waiting list candidates are rejected because of the non-order of  dinner tickets?

I know two Alliance Kindergarten students are rejected and they said that Alliance Primary only admits 1/3 Alliance Kindergarten students.

someone said it loves to accept Kenville students rather than SC. & how about Keen Mind?

我的小朋友已accepted. 但學校是否要每位學生均修讀一科?還是兩科樂器(包括琴)嗎? 我小朋友最討厭是學琴.... 其他也可一試!!!

I heard many acceptance were from SC too, at least my case!

學校要求學生學一種樂器:管樂 (Brass or Woodwind)、弦樂 (String) 或敲擊樂 (Percussion)。

很多小朋友會在外面學鋼琴，因為對睇譜有很大的幫助。亦有一些高年班的學生另外再學中樂的樂器。

Hello ChiChiPaPa,

Do you know what chance for those waiting list ? The waiting list letter say APS will call waiting list only after June/July. So is it the only way is to wait until Jun ?

I'm one of the waiting list and really love APS, I'm afraid there are so little parent decline the offer from APS.  Please help !

而宣道每月除了二千六百多元的學費外, 還有什麼雜費呢? many thanks!!

每年都有很多人報宣道，但是和其它沒有中學的私小一樣，大部份人都是用私小做backup。幾百元的留位費，幾乎個個都會交。到大抽獎有結果，才會決定讀那一間。所以要等到六月，學校才能通知後補的學生。

I think you were concern how APS encourage students' reading attiitude.  What ChiChiPaPa gave on the information are details and right.  And I just want to share my experience on my child.  My child starts going to the school library early when she started P1 after she had the library class. She would borrow one book each time although they had 2 for each time.  At the time when she return it, she would borrow another one.  They also have classroom collection.  Each student will bring some of their own book and share at the classroom time.  My daughter always ask me to get her a book or two to read during morning study period.  The 25 minutes session before lesson begin as they hand in their homework and reply slips and class teacher doing class affair. Lately she is asking me to bring newspaper to school.  She mentioned to me that students from P3 will be asked to bring newspaper to school but she said some of my P2 classmates are reading newspaper at school now and some of them will cut out some themselves and read it during school time.  

I personally are not hard working enough to bring my daughter to the library.  We go once in a while but she seems have more interests on reading Chinese book.  But if I choose her English ones, she does not reject to read them.  She do the daily Chinese reading scheme thr computer daily ( The Chinese University one) and she does the English one with United English.  She also enjoy reading Chinese newspaper (weekly from Sing Poa or Apple Daily).  Lately she is reading Daily 7 (English Junior Paper).  

My child also mentions to me what the classmates enjoy reading at school so I believe the students have quite a good attitude to reading.
