Dear SCHAU,

Sorry to hear that you cannot get an immediate admission now. :-|

But according to 24孝阿媽's comments, you don't have to worry, if LHT is really your 1st choice, I think your chances is still very high.  Because many parents are still "wait and see" and LHT may not be their 1st choice.

We are lucky that we have got the admission letter today.  Hope that our child can become classmates next year!

巳交了留位費，LHT剛收到取錄信，但個心十五，十六，唔
知邊間好，LHT 留位費要$980，唔知交唔交好，請各位家長俾Ｄ意見，謝謝！

Would/Could parent having numerous, say 4 offers  in hand and registered, write to decline the seat(s) to other 3 schools immediately when he/she has made up their mind to the favoriate one, or just wait until Jun next year.

各位知不知道佢地是否分開3種信, 1) 取錄 2) 後備 3) 不取錄, 若後備唔知幾時會通知而有無分先後呢, 明天不知會否一併LIST出黎. 叫到取錄信家長你地要在幾時註冊及你的小朋友是否在保良局幼稚園讀架. 唯有寄望播道或參加抽獎.

Congratulations to you for having such an outstanding child!  I think which school is not important to him/ her if he/ she is so outstanding.

臻美、播道及LHT are very different and have their own merits and deficiencies.  You may refer to Ms. SCHAU's very detailed earlier comparison under this chatroom.

BTW, if you think LHT is your 3rd choice, you can just save the $980 and celebrate now.

I think the application period might has passed for 臻美.  I knew a friend who lives in Lam Tin and got admission recently - by phone, just on the next day after interview!

My friend's daughter study in 臻美, she said teachers very nice.
