英國學費大致分文科，理科及醫科，我當年讀MBA重便宜過讀BEngg。

You are correct. When US college gives you offer, they are unconditional.
For DIV I Athletic Recruit, however, college will give you offer well before admission process begins. That's why they can give students offer in Grade 11. For Athletic Recruit below Div I, you have go through the application process in grade 12. Those who intend to go via Athletic track should establish (from grade 10 or 11) a close communication with "coachs" in different universities they intend to apply. If the coach have interest on you, he will liaise for the student with the admission office by bringing in the students result in Oc/Nov of Grade 12. The coach will then inform the student if tentative offer (unofficial offer) is granted before the students actually submit application.

I totally agree. HK elite athlete is much harder and has less chances than those in the US.

對於我個女，她不算滿意，但都欣然接受，努力過都會開心！始終事實就係事實！感謝主恩！

佢A1係HKU言語治療，A2 biomed，
interview都已經盡力，始終成績唔夠fight，
星期一appeal中文有結果，都不知道會否有改變！
