我估呢part係計分,話說當年我小朋友入左去一陣,我叩門入去想比番件外套佢，見到有個老師坐開一邊寫緊野, 一見我入來好緊張咁彈起問我乜事, 之後我小朋友(佢係個group最後一個)話見到老師張一疊紙比個主考官。

In my humble opinion, bringing a child to an interview is an obligation of a father unless he has other commitments.  The more encouragement a child has before the interview starts at the school, the higher the confidence of the child. :)

I didn't identify your gender - you gave it away in your last message "...digging my HUSBAND..."

Honestly, anything that may help our child get more marks in an interview, be it a lot or a few, is worth doing.  Your interview is in the afternoon, so all your husband will sacrifice is just an hour or two's sleeping time on Sat morning.  I'm sure your husband will make a wise choice. :)

When will be the 2nd interview start?  I guess it will be on Oct. 29 (Fri).

Any other guess???

What is the basis of your guess?  The expected last 1st interview date of 26/10?

We must make sure our contact phone numbers can reach us because SPCC will notify parents by phone first before sending out 2nd interview notifications.

The staff checking the documents for us said that they would inform us by mail in end Oct/early Nov should there be any 2nd interview chance.  The whole interview result will be released on 23 Nov (or 22 Nov, I forgot).

I just depends on last year 2nd int discussion and forecast 29/10 will be the first day of 2nd int this year.

Last year parents received call on 27/10, informed the 2nd int date at 29/10......but those were group A applicants.

According to last year info, final result also annouced on Nov 22. Similar approach......

我想問有無家長之前係平日 IN 8:50a.m.?  阿囡星期五 IN 8:50a.m.  撞正番工番學時間, 想早D到避開但  Interview Letter 又話早15分鐘好啦 "切勿提早到校".   是否太早到要企在門口等?

一定唔駛企o係門口等，你入去門口之後會有指示，不過要o係上去面試前去晒洗手間，因為一上到去4樓交低封面試信，好快就會叫佢入去，就算你早過15分鐘前去到都會俾佢入去。建議你如果真係太早去到，就o係樓下行一陣先至上4樓。

Nov 22 is the date for 自行收生結果通知.  SPCC is fair enough to let parents think clearly before deciding to take their offer or not.

after reading the above posts, it can be concluded that for group 4 candidates, 30 kids to compete for 1 place....

I think it is not as difficult as what people tell for the non-related group. As long as the kids perform well during the interview, the chance of being admitted would not be signficantly lower than students in the related groups.
