My son's classmate has been scheduled for 1st interview this evening, he submitted application on last day afternoon, this implies 1st round interview will be completed by today or tmr.

According to the infomation from LSC, 76 boys will be selected for the discretionary places.

The one who will meet Brother Patrck this week took interview on 22/1.

Brother Patrick is very busy.  It depends on his availability to meet boys even the 1st interview is being held. (same situation as last year)

It doesn't mean only on 22/1.  As I mentioned in previous msg, Brother Patrick is very busy. He'll interview boys in separate days.  Those boys were interviewed by him would have extremely great chance (99.9%) to be accepted to F.1

Hi all,

Based on my understanding, those who submitted application earlier would attend the 1st interview earlier too.  The 1st interview was conducted by teacher.   

They do not wait until completing all the 1st round interview & will call for the selected one to attend the 2nd interview.  The 2nd interview will be conducted by Bro. Patrick.  If Bro. Patrick gives hits to you, your boy will have 99.9% chance to be admitted to their school.  

Since Bro. Patrick is very busy, he may spread around the dates for the 2nd interview & the school has not informed all the 2nd round candidates yet, that why's we keep waiting for their calls.

So, there is no correlation that those with high chances will attend their 1st interview on Jan 21 / 22.

Candidates were interviewed by principal, vice-principal or senior teachers in the 1st round interview, not by Brother Patrick (Please refer to my previous messages).  Brother Patrick will only interview those boys passed 1st interview.

Is it clear?

Yes, we are, my boy was interviewed on Jan 29 & we keep on waiting for the news these days!

Thanks for your sharing, in fact, my understanding is based on what you shared with you earlier, I just consolidated them together.

Any ideas about the 2nd interview format & contents?  I understand that parents will be invited to talk to Bro. Patrick as well.   They will hints to you if you boy is qualified during the interview.  In case if my boy is not qualified, they will not say anything like "see you...in summer", right?

The one has just interviewed by Brother Patrick on 2/2 told me that the procedure for 2nd interview is almost the same as mine.  PM to me the result after interview if you don't mind.

Seems that Bro Patrick will meet some shortlisted boys next week (may be some after the CNY).  

Yesterday I received call for the 2nd interview on next Tue but I requested to change the date on Wed. The officer was very kind and accepted.  He told me that Bro Patrick will be available Tue and Wed and is expected to meet with each boy & his parents for about 1 hour.
