letterland deals with confusion of b and d by this:
b is represented by bouncy ben (a rabbit)
d is represented by dippy duck

To the letterland web and you can have the picture. Children can memorise the picture quickly.

ask the child to use left hand. Put the thumb and second finger to form Bouncy Ben - b. then raise right hand. ask child to put the thumb and second finger to form dippy duck - c.

Whenever they confuse b and d, ask them to make a Bouncy Ben and Dippy Duck with finger.

But remember to familiar them with picture of Ben and Duck by telling them stories and stick picture of them in the house.
