My boy is P.2 at KTS.  Regarding homework, it's only 3-4 pieces a day for P.1 & 2 and can finish within an hour.  They have homework lesson and I know some can finish most of the homework at school. I'm not sure the workload for upper class but it's acceptable for lower class.

I seldom heard they need to attend any other tutorial class outside.  The school provides additional tutorial lessons after school if they are not up to standard with free of charge.

If you join the school activities after school, e.g. swimming, table tennis, musical instrutment etc, it costs around HK$100+ per lesson.  But for the compulsory Fri activities, some are free and some cost around $200-$1000 per year.

For me, I'm a working mom and find KTS helps a lot as they provide all timing schedules for dictations at the very beginning of the term.  

But bear in mind that there's around 35-40 pupils per class and their discipline requirement is quite high.  Please re-consider if you don't like too many pupils in one class.

我姪仔幼稚園科科火箭, Cambridge Starter 15 shields, 今次P.1小測除General Knowledge 9x分, 其他8x, 只係叫中挺 ....

There's no swimming pool at school,  the school arrange swimming lesson with "Hoi Tin".

All parents  require to attend the parent days 2-3 times p.a. no matter you got 0 mark or 100 marks.  For me, I don't feel any pressure on it but I don't know others.

即是有津貼!原來有這樣的!我真的不知！我只知有些校有獎學金給全級考15名以內的學生,若第一名,no need school fee!

分數是高或低和考試卷的深淺有關，KTS 的學生，冇補習，不是太勤力的，平均分取得 80 分或以上，應不難。平均分得7x 分，要留心。

PS 如果是 P.1上學期，則未可下定論，因為分數未穩定.

很多家長想知:
1. 辛唔辛苦 ?
2. 壓力大唔大?

我囝囝讀完六年，似乎我應該寫下我的睇法給大家參考下。

其實這兩條問題不易答。

1.我覺得辛唔辛苦主要係睇:

a) 測考/默書多唔多 > KTS 不多。

b) 功課多不多 > KTS 功課量正常。不過，我知個別學生係會做得耐，可能係佢唔積極，係咁拖，又或者係程度上有些跟不上。一間學校，梗係有些人實力在前，有些人實力在中，有些人實力在後。實力在後的學生家長就要諗下辨法去提升實力。

另外，如每間學校都有，P1 新生存在適應的問題，如果是程度如根德園/國際入的 P.1 生，適應得會很易，如果幼稚園是比較淺，比較少寫字，頭半年會辛苦，下半年多數已可適應。到高年班時，是那間幼稚園入，同成績/辛苦的關係已冇乜。

2. 壓力.... ...

a) 壓力來自老師？
家長對學校有要求，學校對家長亦有要求，因為要培育一個小朋友，要學校、家長和小朋友合作才可。
如果個別小朋友跟不上，(我諗) 老師會要求家長督促小朋友努力。其實，如果小朋友落後了主車群 (單車比賽的比喻)，老師唔叫都有壓力，在其他學校也一樣會有壓力。

b)  壓力來自家長自己？
好睇家長自己。
我諗好多家長都知，KTS band 1 % > 70 %，現制度，這數字一路會變，(roughly 說) 會跟早一、兩屆師兄姐中一分班試成績，KTS 程度高，學生質素高，入中學好，自然學生一路會有心機考(這機制很易引致貧者愈貧、富者愈富。 )，保守來說 ，KTS keep 住 > 70 % 不難 (% 更多亦不出奇)。這樣，在九龍城區，差不多可以說入梗九龍城區 的 band 1 英中，咁家長又會有幾大壓力呢？

當然，如果家長誓要入傳統名校，自然各方面都要加把勁在前，咁....在那間學校也有壓力，就算在名中學的小學部，也要鍊過，不要落後。壓力之路，係自己揀的。

c)  學生感到壓力？
P. 5/6 時, 學生係會認真些。不過，最擔心，皇帝唔急，未見過有人驚皇帝有壓力....
