my girl's class 35 of 40 got English Secondary schools, but she doesn't!!!!!

You just went to the 1st choice school ? May be try another one also ? I guess your daughter failed in the 1st attempt while the 2nd choice school accepted her during that interview ..... so actually she did not join the lucky draw in fact
