小小補充﹐星期六係唔駛返學架﹐所以唔會有午餐﹐就算全日班想返﹐係optional﹐都係只返上晝﹐唔係正式上堂﹐有少少似托兒服務﹐方便要返工冇人看小朋友既家長。

另外早餐同茶點係唔同架﹐早餐有通粉﹐粥﹐三文治﹐蒸饅頭之類。

不過我會俾個女係屋企食埋早餐先返學﹐肯定佢係食晒﹐至少打左底先。茶點同午餐就睇佢自己造化了。顧住玩食得少就返屋企時食多d。我都覺得餐單幾簡單﹐而且一個月先轉一次﹔但均衡營養便夠﹐況且不是天天一樣﹐是星期一至五都不同﹐到了下個星期便重覆。

囡囡今日會上到4:10到, 差唔多3個鐘, 老師話怕佢見到咁多學生同家長, 所以早少少比佢走先, 我工人會係4:00pm到等佢放學. 今日係第7日返學, 好開心佢可以返到3個鐘.

我見我姪仔間幼兒園茶點有時腸粉、豆腐花、肉醬意粉、奄烈、壽司......不同種類！
餐單每2星期轉一次的！
出面大部份幼兒園星期六,都是無堂上,剩係返去玩,都是放1:00pm包午餐的,但朗思放早and沒有午餐,對於要返工的媽咪來說,很不方便！
咁星期六有茶點嗎?

除了膳食有待改善之空間外,我對朗思是很正面的！

美孚朗思時不時都會安排小朋友係課堂時試下不同既食物﹐當做教學既一部份﹐不過未必係當正式既茶點。 其實你可以問下學校會唔會嘗試將膳食變得多元化d。如果有家長出聲﹐佢地可能會改革下既。

星期六既安排我就唔多清楚﹐學校應該係不同方面想過才有呢個編制。

My son studies at Mei Foo Branch also, LN this year, next year need to repeat LN because he was born in Feb. Will switch to am section. My son loves to go to school, teachers are nice.

I am very interested in Think.  My son will be 2 years old in this coming August.  When I help him to apply Pre-nursery class?  Anyone can tell me which primary school will go to after K3?  And any difference between main stream and international stream?

You can check with the school (Langua City, MaOnShan, MeiFoo or Kowloon Tong) directly for application details (http://www.think.edu.hk).  I think you can apply it now as it's almost Jun.  Pre-nursery starts school term in Aug.

For pre-nursery (called LN in THINK), it's mainly in Chinese with 15-20 minutes English playtime per day.  Not sure if there's more English time if you take whole day class.

For K1-K3 (called UN, LK and UK in THINK), you can choose the following streams:
- bilingual ~ 50% English + 50% Chinese (half day or whole day class)
- international ~ 100% English (half day or whole day class)
- bilingual + international ~ 75% English + 25% Chinese (whole day class)

It's not difficult to go to school from MeiFoo WestRail Station.  However, there's not many cover on the way to there.  You have to think about the rainly day, stormy day, cool day, etc.

In Jan2005, there were only 3 LN am class.  Now, there're 7 LN am class.  This school is being more popular.

即使係pre-nursery都可以揀國際班﹐即係全英文。
LN﹐UN﹐LK﹐UK係雙語班叫法(其實好多學校都係咁叫﹐而家唔興叫K1,K2,K3)。國際班叫法係Ducks, Bunnies, Deer, Zebra。

Where do you live?  Which branch of THINK you want to go?

I know many 2yrs old children take school bus.  Okay or not depends on what you think.  Some parents allow but some are not.

LN only has 15-20 mins English playtime per day.  Children can communicate with teacher so you don't need to worry a lot.

Not much homework, just draw lines or colour pictures.  You can see a weekly program in the handbook on each Fri.  It shows what the children have learnt this week, and what will be teached next week.  Of course, you can call teacher for a chat if you want to know more details.

I suggest you go to take a look at the school first.  You can also think about the Kowloon Tong branch.  It may have school bus from your home to school, and from school to your mother's home.
