Annual Concert 2010
Dear all,
The overall performance of the annual concert held last night was really good.  
In addition to the performance by the orchestras, choirs and handchime ensemble, the musical
“Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” was terrific. 
Personally, I think the following are some of the good points that worth mentioning..
1) The sounding effect of this new venue is better.
2) In the past, the musical was mainly performed by P3-P6 pupils.
We could see even some P1 and P2 pupils last night.
3) The special effect of the white smoke was spectacular.
4) The performances of all the characters were very good ,especially the Snow White, The Queen, Crone, Magic Mirror and the Seven Dwarfs. 
5) The choice of a story that most of the people are familiar with.
6) Another scene about the interview of 2 candidates competing for the last TSL seat was very entertaining. 
Actually, the secret recipe for success is as follows:-
a) At least one of the parents can sing well (like our Vice-Principal)
b) Parents should start to cook “alphabet soup” for their children as early as K1.
c) Parents should teach 100 new vocabularies to their children every night before they go to bed.
The only downside of this new venue is that the number of seat seems to be smaller than the previous venue.
Heard that some parents could not buy the tickets when they did not order early enough. 
As usually, the audience showed their appreciation to all the performers by clapping their hands non-stop for more than 5 minutes till the end of the show.
If I am not mistaken, the duration was the longest when compared to the annual concert at least for the last 3 years.
Without the support of all the teaching and supporting staff as well as all the participating pupils, the show could not be as successful and enjoyable as the one held last night. 
I bet most of the audience last night would agree to my comments.
Once again, let’s give everyone a big big hand.

It’s really a pity that you did not have the chance to see the live performance last night.
I think you will regret.
Watching the DVD is different.
In order to avoid any further disappointment, I will suggest you to reserve the ticket for next year’s concert right now (i.e. one year in advance)!!
