my son is taking light private bus r now, i think is OK, in my suggestion, u can ask the 保母 let u to try for first several days, ie. u take the bus with your son, iif u feel ok, take it, otherwise, change back to school bus.

Dear Kentville Parents,

Sorry to interrupt your chat.  My daugther 's been accepted but actually I don't know much about Kentville.  What I know about it is that it's academic level is high and some say kids are mainly trained to study and not much to play.

Can you share your experience and why you choose?

Do they have extra-curricular activities?

Do they have birthday party, picnic, visits and graduation ceremony ?

How are the teachers? Are they caring?

Dear YCPA,

May be I can share some of my experience with you. I choose Kentville because of the following reasons:

1. High academic level : so I can well prepare my son as he goes to primary school, he'll not face too much difficulties in catching up the syllabus there.

2. High level in self-discipline training : Kentville will teach their students to be polite and well behave. Children will learn what they should do or not do, both in classroom or daily live. They also understand that they have to do their homework by themselves automatically. Parents do not need to struggle too much with them on homeworks. Therefore, we can spend more time on 親子活動, ie. play with them.

3. Teachers there are all very experienced : Kentville is also very famous for their own teaching method. Even though it seems like they teach their students a lot in class, my son can learn them all without much problem and pressure. Therefore, I don't have to spend much time in helping him studying, since he already knows. And I like this very much.......because I'm quite lazy.....he, he...   

4. The tuition fee is reasonable compare with its competitor. (I bet you know which one)

5. The last point and the most important one : As I've observed so far, most Kentville students are happy in school. Like my son, he enjoys his school life very much. If he has no school on that day, he'll keep asking why he can't go to school on that day, he misses his teachers very much.

However, Kentville has no extra-curricular activities. If you want to arrange some for your daughter, you've to look for it somewhere else.

Kentville do have birthday party, sportday, and graduation ceremony.

This kinder is not as traditional as what most people thought, and teachers there, so far as I've observed, are caring, responsible & full of love, so don't worry.
