On the 1st sch. day, the teacher gives u notice about the sch. suspension under conditions of rainstorm, typhoon and thunderstorm. If u miss this, pls pm or call me. The class B teacher stessed that "DONT CALL THE SCHOOL" about this and u have yr choice of not sending kids to sch in bad weather though schooling is normal . btw, i have sent my boy to sch. by sch. bus which is late for 20 mins.

I got your PM, but I've a hard time to write your back.  My wife went to the parent's meeting at school.  She was late and sit at the front row.  She remembers you raised a question to Ms. Shu regarding your kid's issue that day.

Today's Wisdom from Teachers:
Do not prepare plastic box or slippery plate for kid's tea time.  Kids may not have the ability to open the box or to remain plate's balance (with biscuits).

Hi EdenDad,

How is your observation today?  Do the kids get on the bus through the central gate of the playground? Can you greet the class teachers?  Sorry for so many questions but just curious to know.

Hi rmma,

It was dry and no rain.  Kids go to school thru the upper gate (They will use the lower gate when it is raining.  The center gate is for the kids from Primary school).  Drivers and assistants from other buses are also very helpful and nice.  They will cover each other and carry umbrellas for the kids.  Besides, there is always a teacher on duty.

Ms. Shu and Ms. Lam are very nice and friendly.  I was there to thank them for taking good care of my kid.  My kid was breeding (he scratched his nose), and his teacher called my wife in the afternoon to tell her what happed in class, and checked if Eden was OK at home.  Teachers also told me why they want kids to bring plate instead of box (check message that I posted earlier - the Wisdom from Teacher).

Well done.  Congratulate on your kid's good job.  My kid's getting there, and I'm sure he will get the good boy card next time (We always have hope on our kids, right?).

Hi All Moms & Dads,

My kid just has homework today.  He has a better hand writing at school.  I think teachers have a high standard, how about your kids?

My wife takes him to Toy Lib. every Friday.  She also enrolls him for 3 after-class lessons.  I used to take him to Science, Space and Haritage Musuems.  I think I should keep it up even I'm busy.  Any kids/parents will hang around in library and/or musuems?  Any after-class lessons for kids?  Any events for our St. Jose kids?

What sort of after class lesson is your son having ?  Now my kid only have a drawing class on Sat.  The summer swimming course has ended.  I am thinking should I continue the swimming class.

My boy also has a better writing at school. He told me that the teacher holded his hand for the writing. His hand-writing is so ugly at home!
I didn't enrol him for any activity at all, as I have used up all my sources(money and concentration) for my elder girl!

Today, he gets a good boy card. I'm very happy and really appreciate this incentive system.  However, I'm a monchacha mom. I'm not so sure in which aspects that my boy performs good to get this card.   Does any moms/dads know how is the criteria for the teachers to reward kids a good boy card? Willing to answer questions? Or behave in class? Or.....
