Sorry to disturb you. As the deadline for paying the miscellaneous fees for 05 K1 is coming (30 March), I urgently need your advice.

My son is offered a place in Kent Rd campus. But I'm still considering Kentville and Creative Primary School's Kindergarten. Can you give me some comments on the following?

1. A lot of people commented that Kentville is putting on children a lot of pressure. Is that true?

2. How much time/effort do you have to spend on your sons' schoolwork?

3. Some said that Kentville kids can recite a lot of English poems, but they don't actually use it for communicate purpose. How often do your children speak English (in and outside school)?

4. How 'creativity' and 'independent thinking' are cultivated in Kentville?

5. Are the teachers in Kent Road campus old? Any comments?

6. How's the teacher-student ratio in a class?

7. Are the English, Chinese and Maths teachers of a class three different people?

In addition, someone want to know the cost for around 2 yrs old child.  I think also need to pay the full amount.  Am i right?

各位唔好意思,我有些事情想問問大家的,請比些意見我啦!
因我囝囝是在今年讀K1,原本我打算早上是就我家(馬鞍山)搭校車回學校,放學則回我媽媽家(沙田)的,但我已問了學校,她們說如果要這樣做就要比2程車錢($1,760),嘩!!真係想死.所以我就問左保母車,他說佢可以安排的,但我有d擔心唔知他們會不會帶小朋友入學校的因我怕囝囝唔安全.

This is the info that I know so far.

1. My friend's kids studied in Kentville before. They are smart and active kids. There is no trace of pressure from their cutey faces.

2. My friend is a real working mum, very busy.  I wonder if she can put much effort in her two kids.

3. Their kids are truly bilingual kids. Very fluent English.

4.  Despite creativity and independent thinking, Kentville kids are mature and behaved kids.

5.  No idea. But one thing, the teachers are very experienced.

6.  There should be 33+ students in a class.

7.  2 teachers for each class. One for teaching English + Math and the other for Chinese and General Knowledge.
