Hi BCMAMA,

I have the school letter on hand, but they did not mention that we need to buy our own cup and towel box.  My son's pre-nursey has provided him with these.  The cup and towel box have school name on it.  So, at the beginning, I expect school's mis. fee is include these things.

my son has been using the Cannan Towel box for 2 years. No complaint from school anyway.
K1 needs to bring  - a small cup with handle and a cover, a wet towel keeping in towel box, snacks for teatime

Thanks for your advice.

May I know what did you usuall prepare for your son in tea break?  Is it only biscuit and cake?  Will you give him an egg or sausage?  The lady told me in the telephone that "don't bring the wet food".

Actually, I try to source a beautiful cup and towel box for my son last night in Shatin.  But I cannot found it, all for girls.  I cannot find any Thomas cup or 新幹線cup with cover and towel box for boy.  The world is so un-fair, all beautiful things for girl only!

I have use the Thomas sticker to cover his previous school name of the cup and towel box.  If I still cannot find a beautiful one, I will use it anyway.

Why the school don't order these things for us?  So that there is no comparision amongst the kids later.

i normally prepare bread for my son,  such as bread with butter, jam or susage. sometimes having a candy also. No need to give them so much food since the tea time is only for 10 to 15 mins.

About thomas cup, u can try a shop on the 5/F in the Mall of Grand Centrury Place at Mongkok KCR station, that shop is selling a lot of Thomas stuff, all of them are imported from Japan directly.

Dear Kwinghei,

My son’s previous school asked me to bring a dry towel for them.  When arrive school every morning, his class teacher will put the dry towel on his back, because he sweat a lot.  May I know will KV’s teacher do like this?

The dry towel is using for drying hands after washing but not for putting on his back. U may try to ask the teacher to help u if u want to do so.

You can try Sanrio.  I bought the 'Shinkansen' cup there.

I notice that you are also living in Kowloon Tong.  May be we will meet very often in the future.  BTW, I live at Beacon Hill... and U?

as i remember that kv will issue the letter which has mentioned in the details what the parents need  to prepare for the children.  e.g. winter + summer uniform, shoes, misc - cup for k1, bottle for k2, towels, snack box, .....   perhaps they changed??
