Have anyone received the new DVD gift from world family yet? I still have not got it and I am really looking forward to the DVD gift.

重你話有個位專賣二手dwe,就好似鼓勵人去睇,去買,
有D無無知知仲以自己買到好o野的媽咪(包括我的朋友) ,就去買人o地唔要的垃圾(即二手貨),買完之後唔識用,求助無門,真係好慘嫁!!!你知唔知吖?

最後你要發表個人意見,無所謂,但千期唔好鼓勵人o地去買二手貨!係會害人不淺

如果你真係覺得教材幫到你o既BB,點解唔買?
我初時的情況都係同係一樣,但係我最終都買左,因為我知道英文實在太重要,我自己英文唔太好,搵食唔易,我都想BB大個可以搵到份好工,唔駛o甘辛苦。
加上我老公好忙,根本無時間教,我曾經試佢口風(好耐之前),我覺得佢鍾意同BB玩多過教BB功課,可能佢見過我姑拉教仔做功課、默書、考試勁勞氣,有陰影o瓜!!!
於是,我自己買左,送人個日先話佢知,佢初時鬼殺o甘嘈,我都有D驚嫁,但見到BB鍾意,佢就無o甘嘈o勒,最後仲幫我俾晒錢。
呢個係我的經驗,headphone0528,如果係對BB好,就算先斬後奏,我想都不會太大問題吧!!!!
另headphone0528係用就快D用,  BB愈細吸收能力愈強

我已成套 playmate 連卡賣出了, 因為小朋友大個了, 不喜歡此形式學單字。

我也覺 JOIN MEMBERSHIP有點不化算, 所以無join 了。

書同DVD我自己 backup. 我覺得只要係新淨, 其實二手係無問題。我而家成套嘢同二手無分別。

k2還未為兒子開始BASIC ABC+的ACTIVITY, 你套嘢可以say Bye Bye !!!!  因為佢會覺得 book 1 - book 6 太淺。

我個囡而家三歲半, 我間中有dd衡心做BASIC ABC+的ACTIVITY Book.  但係book 10, 11, 12 is too difficult for my girl, so I just repeated Book 1 - book 9 only.  repeat and repeat.

Dear all,
I am planning to buy DWE, but cannot decide which pakage would be more valuable. My girl is only 5 months old, so may just enjoy play along and sing along. Some of the books may be too difficult for her, right? Shall I just buy the minnie set first and upgrade later? Is it much more expensive to upgrade it later?
Shall I wait for book fair to buy, someone said there may be more gift in book fair/baby fair.

Could all the current users give me some suggestion?
Did anyone had good consultant who can pm me.

My girl just 3 years old now.  Will study in Kenville on coming Sept.  She use DWE from 4 months old.  Now she didn't like watch DWE DVD much as before.  But She still willing to read the books for all the level by her own.  We are very busy to read other books at night, so we only spend once a week to do the exercise for the Activies book.  Overall, my girl learn a lot from DWE.  

Any other moms use for long time?  Can you share with us too.

Thanks for your support MayAh. My elder son is actually in K2 Kentville and younger son will go into K1 Kentville also!  After I subscribed Disney Channel, the whole set of DWE is a little waste...also, I think there are too many options for kids nowadays.  Same as you, I read them different books every night and they like adventurous stories better than repeating DWE.  I agree that their vocab are very good before kindergarten because they watched DWE.

Yes, you are right, so many choices for child now.  So, I don’t let my girl to watch TV program (unless Seasam street), and I select a few other DVD (not DWE) to her.  So that she has more time to read all kind books.  Actually, she don’t feel boring. She is very busy in the house.  I hope she can  build up a good reading ability from young age.  

Will you let your son to graduate in DWE??  I will try but not put.  I will try go for it step by step.

I just bought DWE the package were included DVD & VCD and books, we are thinking around 3 months at the end we've decided to bought it.
My daughter very like to listen the music so that i want her to learn more something before she study in Kindergarten.

I bought DWE when my daughter 4 months old, now she is 3.5 year old, she is able to speak English in a sentence, she read and listen the DWE books & CD very often before 3 years old.  Now she read the book at least an hour everyday.  Sometimes she able to read alone.  Her daddy & my maid speak with her in English, and me speak with her in Chinese.  She learnt a lot from DWE.  

Hope you daughter like DWE too.

DWE have many CD & DVD and many books. But, i afraid my daughter is not a good patient to look the books and she's not live with me in weekday. My mother take care her and she's not remember to open the DVD. Only weekend we can teach her.
Is it okay. i think it should not be a better.  :idea:
