Hi lamlam-ma,

I still have no time and no idea on the way to help Valerie to prepare for the story telling.  She is not good at it at all!

I think her school bus arrives school at least after 8:45 am cos one time I missed the school bus and took her back to school, I saw the school bus just arrived when I left at around 8:50 am. something.

Issac is really cute and Valerie mentions his name to me quite often.   This week Valerie always sang a song (pls note that I can't really hear clearly what she sings) as follows:

一跳二跳，鈴鈴鈴鈴跳

(then repeats the above several times, but she imitates a rabbit and jumps when she sings "一跳二跳", and twists her hip when singing "鈴鈴鈴鈴跳".  It's cute! :wink:

My girl sang this song long time ago, maybe her teacher taught it earlier:
一跳二跳，鈴鈴鈴鈴跳
And now my girl tell a poem to me is :
小老鼠上燈台，偷油吃，下不來，叫媽媽，媽媽不啋，咕嚕咕嚕滾下來。
Se told the story called "ulgy duckling" already, she said all of the students were good behaviour and no one sat in "silent chair", but she said don't give her two classmates to read the book,are they need to stay the story book in the classroom?
Today she told me one boy is bad guy........
I've no idea where she learnt from this....any idea from NBlue classmate???
SHe said Arron has been travel to somewhere and Ryan was absent today.

I just learnt from other mummies that they received their kid's class exercise book called "My Nursery Book" from time to time.  But I haven't received once.  How about yours ?

As what I expected, my girl failed too. Only on waiting list. Ha, ha, I don't feel disappointed because SC is a good school too.

You are so lucky to receive 'a waiting list letter'.Do you know,most of us received 'an inch letter' that I've never seen it before--the headmistress said that 'My decision is final'. After the interview,I knew my girl is hopeless as she told me nothing about the interview.So the same as you, no disappointment, no sadness.

I just received the Nursery Book before Easter and knew about the progress of my son.  As far as I know, some students can bring this book home from time to time.  It depends on the teacher.

The "My Nursery Book" is an english writing book which doing during the english lesson.  One letter per page, such as page 1 is letter "Aa".  The kids will write the letter "A" by themselves and colour the cartoons Apples, Axes, Ants...

My girl has learnt to "Nn" but her handwriting is terrible !

I know there is such book, but I don't know the name is "Nersery Book". Thank you very much.

One thing I want to share with you all. I talked to the teacher few weeks before. She suggested us to provide some good place for the school trip which will held on June for our kids. This trip will talk whole day, not like the "Insects House" so rush. If you have any good idea, please write to the principle.

I got a look at my girl's classwork quite some time ago and I remember that she has only learnt "Ff" or "Gg" at that time.  Totally agree that her handwriting is terrible.     Recently, my girl wrote A to D on her own and to my surprise, the handwritings are much better.  Our kids are improving and learning more and more each day.  Afterall, they are still too young to write properly.

I recall that my girl didn't write on every page, so I guess it is not compulsory to write the letters at that time.

Long time no see.What are you busy at?Why didn't you go with us? We really enjoyed in our China trip as it's the first time for our family to go there and I could chat with all mums in the whole trip. My kid was so happy to go with almost 10 kids for 2 days 1 night. At day time, she was so excited to feed a lot of animals. Now she really knows that a lot of animals like to eat grass and vegetables. At night time, she travelled around the animal zoo by train.It's an experience not to be missed. So, please don't miss to gather us next time.
