Every student will receive a set of fork and spoon from the lunch supplier on the first day, as well as a tray(托盆). My son told me that, in last year, his class teacher asked them to use the table cloth provided by the school is enough. So, some of his classmates use the tray for the art lesson and some took back to home. There are also some trays left at the classroom.
At the beginning, my son followed teacher's instruction, only used the table cloth and always made it very dirty. He washed it at school and made his school bag wet when he arrived home. Then, I teached him to put the tray on top of the table cloth. In case the tray is dirty, he can clean it with tissue. He, usually, brings the table clothes back home once a week, or when it was dirty. He seldom to bring the tray back home, until the end of the school term.
As the supplier provided a set of steel fork and spoon, I prepare a set of plastic one for my son. I use a "密實袋" hold stuff for his lunch. What I put are the set of plastic fork and spoon, a pack of wet tissue, tissue and handkerchief. |
