I don't think any ONE single product could teach everything the kids need.  I only believe that "good parents" are KEY to raise "good children".  If you spend quality time/effort in teaching and playing with the kids, you can use anything books/sets/products (no matter whether it is expensive or cheap, chinese or english...) to achieve similar result.

To be frankly, I use DWE as I am a working mum, I need some materials which I could ask my maid to use with my baby during office hours.  I don't rely on it heavily, as I don't like too much video for young kids, and my baby is big enough now to make her own choices, sometimes, when I played the Main Program to her, she asked to change to other disc.

I am not able to share any successful DWE case with you as I really have none...  as of now, my baby learned all her vocabs from me and from books, and I think the only vocabs she learned from DWE is "hippo" and the names of all the characters    

However said that, I like "Zippy and Me" and "From Head to Toe", my baby learns from them.

My girl is now 4 years old.

I bought it when she is 10 months.  She still love Play Along and she will play the toys herself.

Important things is, will/did you play with your kid.  

For the Zippy and me, she did love it before, but as no toy to play with, she hard to find insteresting on it.

我個仔就細個時好肯玩/聽play along. 早排就鐘意睇/聽singe along, 再大d就好like basic abc+. 佢會自己攞書睇同要求睇/聽邊隻disc. 但佢依家既致愛就係let's play. 我覺得佢用得幾好, 可能個bunbun好有心機同佢玩呢套野

我個女半歲開始用，直到現在快一年了都仍好喜歡看每一套，每次一喊播比佢睇就即時收聲•快過打針
也常主動叫我拿書睇，可以一次靜靜地聽你讀完一本故事書！玩咭機自己放咭可以玩得耐Ｄ！特別愛那有兩種變化的咭！感到神奇的緣故吧！
她現在己吸收了好多，比我估計的多好多！所以覺得有套有系统連貫的教材先可以令有心機教仔女的媽媽輕易去教，否則更有心機的父母但東一套西一套唔同的教材，反而好易令小朋友混亂wave:

say a little english from DWE but no CHinese,
not even MAMA, PAPA,
is it common in chidlren using DWE?

Dear members, I am a present member who joined since 2002. I received a quote from my sales rep re the upgrade of Talk Along Cards. May i know the price they quoted to you and the specific upgrade that you will have apart from the new set of cards? My main purpose is to ensure the company is operating in a commerically fair manner and fair to all members. You know, everyone of you will become an old member as time goes by and would like to maintain our DWE products with a company with proper commercial ethics.
