woo！Auman is so smart that he got A+ in Chinese and English,       真係飲得杯落！
Anson is so far so good, she got "A" in maths , chinese, English ,GENERAL KNOWLEGE, GOT 5A and ' first place in cleanliness", 我覺得好安慰，因為平時都不是放太多時間同佢溫習，而其他部分都幾平均，都是B or B+,不過，學習不是求分數，而是求進步，所以只希望她們可以在愉快環境下學習，這點是最重要的！

i just finished the brief meeting with the class teacher (ms wong) and she gave me some useful advice to improve my son's weaknesses.

Dear moms,

Thank you for given me lots of sharings.

After over the phone discussion and today’s meeting with the teachers, I still couldn’t find out why she doesn’t like to go to school. She told me no body wants to play with her during play time but the teacher told me she usually invites the kids to play with her during play time and lots of children played with her. She also told me the teachers did not treat her well, her good friend did not go to school etc… but I found out those are not true! The teacher said she is a happy girl at school and even gave her highest grade on “Being Cheerful” at school report! Strange! Teachers keep saying she is ok at school. These few weeks she did not say she doesn’t want to go to school again but she always say no need to go to school tomorrow! I will keep observe her to see what happen. She got three full marks and 96 on Chinese, 5 A/A- and the rest are B/B-.

As far as know, there is no 'A+' for academic subjects like English, Chinese, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The highest possible grade is A. Please correct me if I am wrong.

昨天家長日時我都問過老師, 佢都係話在學術科上,(ie:English, Chinese) A 已經係最高分, 係冇A+. 我話有 mami 話佢小朋友拿A+ 喎,  但老師話冇可能, 100分就拿 A, A 已經係最高分. 至於非學術科, (ie:singing, art), 就做對哂比B+, 好少有A-, 除非小朋友真係非常非常之出色,  一班可能有一個半個拿A-喎.

My son got A in Oral, B+ in counting.

Counting is part of Maths, 係學術科, so I guess someone should able to get A in it. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

  It seems that many K1 students can get quite a high marks - B+/A/A-/A+ for academic subjects.  How about the non-academic subjects and the development part?  Do some of the marks highly depend on 平時分 (like coloring)?

My daughter's teacher said B+ is the highest mark on non-academic subject and counting. For counting, they expect children to clap their hands with correct beat. My daughter got A on Math but B- on counting.
