No, he hasn't.  But I have sent in the form this week.

I have been torn between international school and local school.  Hubby is not keen on international school coz he thinks Elliott should learn Chinese.  But then I am sure he would know Chinese anyway if he's in HK.  And I know certain international schools teach Chinese.

I am quite bewildered by the creative ways of teaching sometimes.  Kids seem to be doing more thinking than just memorizing.  I am sure there are pros and cons for both schools of thought..........

以前既英基唔太重視中文，但今時今日，我想會教普通話，但至於中文字，就唔知勒，佢地真係唔太重視中文，我有朋友個仔係度讀，佢地既中文程度，並不如主流學校咁高。而佢個仔唔肯講中文，滿口英語，睇家長自己點睇啦。

英基將來都可能要出去外國留學，佢地好似唔係考香港會考架。

I am pretty sure that they teach Chinese.  Some teach simplified Chinese though.  I need to do more research.

It's our intention to send Elliott to Canada or the States at early teens anyway.  I know Chinese is important and it's hard to learn so I can't be sure yet.

How's Yola?  Elliott told me there are quite a few kids missing schools these days.

4 more months to go and they are kissing carefree kindergarten days goodbye.  I surely miss that too.

中學過去會較好，豈碼都要識睇中文字，咁會好好多。教簡體字，咁真係迎合大陸喎，我自細係香港主流學校讀，對簡體字真係既愛且恨，愛佢係因為我讀文科，會考時中文及中國文學科，要於有限時間內，寫大量中文字，寫簡體字可省去好多時間，令我可以騰出時間黎寫好內容; 但對簡體字果種等同即食麵既感覺，煮得係快，填肚亦快，但完全唔係上得大檯既食物，有d輕視，甚至鄙視。係唔係好衰呢?

Yola仲有少少咳，今晚食左化痰藥，由6點幾瞓到依家都未醒，晚飯都冇食，功課未做，聽日都唔知點算。

係啦，蜜月期就過啦!時間過得真快，咁就就黎3年勒。

社會上已意識到流感威脅，即係流感疫情唔會惡化落去，通常最越壞既時間係當人未意識到生命受到惡菌既威脅。相信流感會好快消失。

我今早試左燉川貝, 我大概大半碗水+ 1/5 兩的川貝粉, 燉45分鐘, 變了糊仔, 然後待暖+ 蜜糖俾對囝囡食, 效果好好, 我囝昨日開始有幾聲咳, 個囡今早咳2 聲, 食完未咳過. 天穎就哭住食,  囝囝就一口一口食, 梗係婆婆在囝囝個碗加多左蜜糖喇!

明天即3月13日起兩個星期幼稚園及小學停課，提早放復活節假。我屋企果3件，唉!唔返學就好煩!

有無媽咪打番學校問呀! 校車會唔會送假期功課呢? , 我今早已經帶出私伙練習, 做3 頁, 哈哈! 唉! 看似假期, 但又唔敢帶2 小朋友出外, 現在只能留在家中, 今晚回家, 實是反轉間屋了

我收到Ms Yiu 電話了,交待得好清楚:D , 明天和後天可以回去取功課,  相信今日學校老師, 職員, 嬸嬸為應變都好忙了.唔該哂   

私伙練習= 在書局買的課外練習, 買的時候諗住1 星期2 頁, 但最近就打左入冷宮, 這次大派用場了

Miss Leung都打左電話俾我，其實今朝9點幾，我都打番去問過。

我問左Yola芭蕾舞班，個機構話繼續喎，咁我話教育署都宣佈停課啦，佢話理度唔係幼稚園及小學，家長可以自由決定帶唔帶小朋友黎上堂，但學費冇得退，咁即係點?有事自己負責? 聽日打去教育署問下先。

No, I don't think those private institutions will oblige coz they earn their fees per class.

今日打去教育署，話果間機構冇係佢地名冊上，即係管唔到。唉!

大家D小朋友, 在家中悶嗎? 我部鈑錄影機和電視長開 , 昨晚放肆左囝囝, 食左3 件沙律海鮮卷及1X粒花生, 今早食唔哂奶和忟憎, 於是帶左去看醫生, 醫生真是話喉嚨發炎呀 .

Elliott's swimming twice a week.  And of course he will be watching TV whole day through.  Hmm, doing homework as well ..........
