聽說備取生都等到下年先會通知收唔收,

GH student smoking? 去面試個日我都係見唔到有gh學生, 我有好多朋友d子女都係頏gh, 一直比我d commend都好好, 就算一d唔係讀gh既人都話好, 有一次我在mtr見到gh女仔, 我都好留意佢地, 我覺得比較DGJS, gh的女仔就平民化d, 看上去就不太覺有傳統名校女仔的氣質, 但佢地看來都是乖和純。當然這只是表面看啦!

而真正體驗是, GH中學畢業生的英文真是好好, 至少我接觸過的都是。

The school offers many routes which spread over many places in Kowloon and N.T.  As far as I know, there are school buses going to Shatin, Ma On Shan, Hung Hom, TKO, Kowloon East, etc. (and even Tai Po if I remember correctly), but seems no coverage on the Hong Kong Island.

車程要幾耐呢??
It's difficult to say but you better assume that it takes much longer than travelling on your own.  The school bus takes an hour to reach my place.  If we take MTR + mini bus, it only need about half an hour.

Just curious to know. Why your girl "was not on the 2nd interview list of HKUGA", but she subsequently got the chance to attend the 2nd interview last Sat?  Do you mean something wrong with the list published on web?

My girl also gets in.  But she told me she had answered a lot of questions in both cantonese and english.  She said she draw pretty good as usual.  For how many questions the examiner actually asked, I don't think they just asked 1 - 2 questions, sometime the kid doesn't want to tell.

I also answered the questionaire in Chinese, I think what kind of language you answered is not important, the aim is they want to know how much you know the school's mission and your kid.

My wife browsed HKUGA web site to check 2nd interview list in the first 2 days, my daughter was not listed.  However, 3-4 days later her name was listed in her web site and interview letter was also received.  I think work load is too hard for HKUGA to update so much information on time.

My daughter also from KV and got an acceptance letter from GH on Monday (13/11).

Don't think there's any connection whether the parent(s) answer the questionnaire in Chin or Eng.

Guess no one will know the basis of selection.

My daughter is also from KV and got acceptance letter.

The point of GH I concern most is its location (as it's relatively non-convenient) and when will its primary school building construction be completed.  Does anyone have idea?

我都覺得應該會下年先收到通知, 因為佢會等政府大抽獎完畢後而有小朋友放棄學位才有機會收到電話通知, 但好似要2nd interview, 因佢地會一次過打好多電話給備取生的家長, 所以要再次甄選. 不過不要灰心, 你何能得呢?
