I didn't, don't and won't look down band five students. This is your potential school parent, jonmkchan, who did. I just told jonmkchan the same logic (not my believe, just jonmkchan's believe) can be applied to Logos also. Please see:

Dear all, there are many debate actaully is stimulated from Jovis.

Anyway, Mr. Lo of EC was working for 2 year as Principal in 靈糧堂怡文中學 from 2002.

Mr. Yau of Logos was workig in 港澳信義會慕德中學
and quited ofr Logos from 2002

Some info why I choose Logos and give up EC will share as below:

1. During the interview, Logos and DGJS女拔 principal will interview each candidate includes 何志平+胡慧中 to apply DGJS together with us but EC only assign the normal schoold teacher who from different other schools or fresh graduate. So will have big tolerance for benchmark and preception to choose the right pupil. sometime by luck.

2. Mis-promised. EC commit we could received the letter before 30Sep, but we got it after National holiday.

3. And there is 2nd round interview on 21 Oct, why they  don't give chance to waiting list kid to enroll first or adopt 2nd interview for 1st round waiting list kid.

4. I definately belived experince is also very important as I have very bad experience for my kid to study a brand new TKO Catholic Kindergarten. They really need time to grow.

5. EC will consider to take GCE and Logos will take IBD, you can verify with the principals. I like IBD which 男拔 will also register IBO in 2009 for 2 class with school fee HK$58,000/year for the time being.

6. Both EC and Logos could be good school, just different point of view. Let time to prove it.

Same logic can be applied to Logos as well:
During the interview, DGJS女拔 principal will interview each candidate including the kid of 何志平+胡慧中 to apply DGJS but Logos only assigns normal school teachers. Some are from other schools or are fresh graduate. So will have big tolerance for benchmark and preception to choose right pupils. Sometimes by luck.

Too many for Logos (eg: no repeat, 32 students max, swimming pool)

I wonder how many students will PY offer 2nd interview this year as he said that he would meet around half of the applicants last year. This means he need to interview around 350 applicants this years.  For around 15-30 min interview, it would take over 80 to 100 hours to do so.  Also, will 20/11 be a due date for the first batch interview? Besides, in my gusess, is the sequent of interview depends on the score of our kids in the 1st round, that means the higher score in. earlier and has higher chance of having offer of Logos.   If so, even we got the waiting letter (for the 2nd interview), our chance will deminish as interview date is not yet confirm or later on the list.  Hope someone will share their view on these?

It is not uncommon to get the phone rung after the due day.  You know some parents may secure a few offers from various school before the bell ring.  They have to choose.  

That means a few months later, there might be some rooms left.

Per my experience, few days later Logos will inform you by phone and send you letter to register. I did register 4 days after interview. BTY, we did interview on 1st day of 2nd interview according to PY. and the sequence of 2nd interview is followed by marking on 1st group inerview.

Which day you took interview? I took it on 1 Nov which is the high mark group or above average or average if taking the sequence of 2nd interview concept?? My husband & me like this school and my son likes this school very very much. I hope I will receive the good news very soon.

If Say the exact date, PY should know me lah. so I can tell you the week of Jun 11 at Secondary section; a very nice meeting room, and got result on the week of Oct 18. I think your child still very good so PY will spend time to meet you. PY will tell you how good is your child. Don't worry, you will soon receive good news. Or if your child is average, then you may need to wait on or before Nov 20. SO you may also abel to take free school from government result.

My kid's 2nd IN was arranged very early in Mid Oct too orginally,but I don't believe he can have good marks in 1 st IN. He was the only one who needed the teacher to comfort b4 going to the interview room. by the way, the teachers there was very very kind and nice. I think the students study there can have a very happy school life and become more confident.
