Re: 真道及臻美-真真不明?
Dear Jovis,
Thanks for your post. I have some replies to share with you.

We can look at it this way and it is a very clear picture.
I believed that they should focus on the existing one. They should pay more attention to study how to improve it first. The concept of the school is nice and that is the truth but they have to execute and monitor the progress carefully. If the headquarter is not sucess, who is going to study at the branch. Right??? It is also not fair to the existing students as well as parents. Any objections????
I understand you guys' situation. Indeed it is quite difficult. If I was you, I would be headache too.
For example:
YOU PAY 8 MILLIONS TO BUY AN APARTMENT AND YOU FOUND THAT IT HAS SO MANY PROBLEM (THE CEILING IS LEAKING, THE WALL IS CRACK.........., THE SEAVIEW IS BLOCKED BY NEW SITES) WITH IT AFTER YOU MOVE IN. SINCE YOU BOUGHT IT AT THE UP MARKET, YOU CAN'T GET IT OF IT RIGHNOW. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE IMAGE AND THE REPUTATION OF THE PROPERTY, YOU GUYS HAVE NO CHOICE BUT KEEP SAYING IT IS A NICE APARTMENT. MY KIDS ARE VERY HAPPY AFTER MOVING IN.
Indeed, I respect you guys. No kidding!!!! Undoubtly, you guys are 200% good parents. You love your kids and you protect them as well....................
This is no joke. Primary school stage really influences a kid's growth and development. If you picked a wrong choice, how you compensate your kids 5 years later?? Just make an appointment and discuss with the principle seriously. Express your feeling in heart. Tell him your insights.
Don't bet your kids on it!! OK??
<<When the exisiting school is not mature, why they spend much time and effort to plan for new branches. What for??? Could you guys give me one of the reasons?? Just one. Please!>>
Our school has a history of no more than five. Indeed, it is not even close to mature. We know it.
Since Sept. of 2006, our school has no further intention to increase the class size of more than 7 x each grade. At least, the idea is finalized as of now to facilitate as well as to simplify planning and co-ordination with the rest.
A well-developed school follows its operation under a series of system set by its predecessors but a new one that is still in the stage of development may experience continuous changes to the best of its benefit.
The idea of a new campus is to house the existing students because the current campus space is inadequate to accommodate all the students in the primary section (as you may also be aware that a standard Y2K campus has no more than 30 classrooms) On the contrary, if our school is lucky enough to be granted a campus twice the size of the Y2K enough for the primary section, I'm sure nobody would call it an extension. Unfortunately, it is not the case
Thanks for your concern. Reading your posts did enlighten me a lot. After all, you have gone through this stage and we are still in the beginning. Most likely, your experience is what we would be about to go through. Your comments and criticisms did serve as a means of improvement, because I can see your sincerity in posting them. Like I said in our home topic, our principal is well aware of the long list of things that needed to be done. Only, it is a matter of time against priority. I'm sorry that our school has become so controversial here because of our principal's high profile. It's difficult for me to give any comments in this respect since this is too personal and unrelated to the discussion topic. Yet, he is highly respected amongst the Logos parents for what he has done for the good sake of the school and our kids. We believe in his capability, determination, dedication and efforts to drive the school to a success.
Don't worry, I'm not betting on my own kid. I know what I'm doing. The school is now undergoing a healthy development and transformation. It has gone through the chaotic stage, survived well and is progressing steadily onto the next. We welcome your criticisms as long as they serve as an insight for driving improvement. Once again, I appreciate your concern and comments. Thanks.
