Dear all,

No need to too sensitive about 'not good' comments from others. Each school has its own strength and weakness. No school are perfect. So, I think we just need to try our best to find out the suitable methods to nurture our children and co-operate well with schools is enough. Hope all of our children could enjoy their learning and do not suffer unnecessary learning pressure. Good Luck!

想問下各位媽咪舊年apply第一round時的情況.....
因為我今年會主力揀呢間學校...
但係我只得5分首名同10分適齡....
我應該要點預備呢?

正常情況下得拿住 15 分係第一 round 自行選校唔係咁穩陣，但係就算明知唔得你都應該揀沙呂小為首選學校，而第二 round 統一派位你都要做相同勳作，因為當兩次都唔得而你又去叩門果時，熱門學校會參考番之前兩 round 你有冇揀佢做第一志願！

若果頭兩 round 都唔得唯有叩門，但競爭亦相當大下因為可能隨時有過百人做同一樣野，要想辦法突出你既小朋友，例如參加公認課程拿到 distinction 之類，仲要小朋友 interview 果時有超水準表現先得，真係唔易辦得到架！又可能要犧牲小朋友既快樂時光去做一些他們未必 enjoy 既事，我都唔敢講話值唔值得！

我想最實際都係統一派位大抽獎果下   

My 2 cents on knock door case is that a well written (precisive+content rich) cover letter is a must.  Don't rely on those ordinary ones that everyone copied from friends or books cos' the principal may ignore it after seeing hundred letters with the same keywords.  Once you catched the principal's attention, again you need a well organised portfolio to present your kid.

What I suggested isn't the sure win formula.  For knocking door, the key points are; a/ your kid must excel in certain area(s),  b/ you presented him/her well to the principal, and c/ you and your kid performed well in the interview.  If you got chance for interview you should well prepare for it but don't get yourself too nervous.  Be reminded the first 2-3 minutes for every interview is vitally important because your first impression to the principal could be a deciding factor.

阿女話今日都係玩 D 同樂理有關既遊戲例如跟拍子拍手，無玩過任何樂器！

完左樂團之後搵姐夫飲茶又再收多少料，佢話多老師唔做係因為校長對老師要求相當高，跟唔住既就會覺得幾辛苦下。

另外，呂明才中學今年會考成績都幾好，有 5 個同學拿 8A、 4 個 7A，他們只報 8 科所以什麼 10 優狀元一定冇份

線人仲話我聽 D 學生著運動服返學多過著常規校服，所以買多套無妨！  Yanyan-mummy 究竟係真唔係呀？

基本上男生同女生校服無論夏季定冬季都一樣,係校章吾同,但運動服就完全不同,沙呂小運動服夏季男生藍色,女生黃色,冬季男女黃色,外穿黑色外套,而一呂好似有四色......總之一望就知吾同

大果個係呂中讀緊，細果個剛小六畢業。姐夫都有提到有好多小六畢業生去左區外名校，冇特別留心聽呢段所以 exact 數字冇記上腦！
