SC VS 根德

I would also prefer SC because my friend advised me that there are more than 20 kids (studying in SC) living in the same building and noted that they are all very happy with the school life.  And, it seems that there is no complaint from their parents about the school.

hi all..... from one k3 kentville mami said there are 8 kids promoted to sfc, 2 to 德望    and some to other different private schools in her class this year.

KV K1 class will start to write Capital Letter A - Z around 2nd term.

In fact, both kindergartens are good but the approaches are different only. In my case, my girl is now 2 years and 9 months..... she'd already known A-Z, said 1-28 ( both chi and eng), can count 1 to 20...... and sing many songs and words, most animals.... and also very talkative :-x !..... I think most kids who are studying PN now having this same situation. Thus, if the standard or academic of k1 is low, it is not suitable for my girl and the kid won't feel interesting in study and only like to play at school time.

The above is only my own opinion, just for share.

For Me, my son was studying K1 in St Cat and Kentville .  Both are good but one is good in chinese & math , good for writing  ,another is good in english for speaking, creative.

The diff between is the time table. In SC, most of time in group playing. students can sit on the chair/floor for studying , have talk & show time for kids.  KV can not run around and talk to each other while in class.  If you want to go Int'l primary, I prefer SC.  If you want to go Local school, KV is one of the pre-primary school. Depand on your kids who like creative or formal school life.  

SC parents must spend more time to teach / play with kids at home.
KV students is more indepandent and they do homeworks by themself.  But parents need to help them for spelling and dictation such as Primary one

我有朋友個仔都係讀 kent, 佢叫我 apply sc for my daughter, 我問佢點解比個仔讀 kent, 係咪因為佢仔 not active, 佢話唔係, 就係因為佢太 active, 所以等 kent 教吓佢, 同 safarimama 老公講法一樣

wahhh..... long time no see this topic..... kyk , you quote my very "old" message.... !!! Yes, KV can made a child well-educated & polite. If yr kid is very active, let KV teach him!!    

Finally, my girl is studying in Keen Mind Kindergarten now...... I found KM is the mix of KV & SC! Very good!

我唔評論邊間好, 我想每間幼稚園必有佢的優點, 這才有它的存在價值的.
我仔仔讀sc, 返學三個幾星期, 好開心佢返學第三天回家已由唔講英文的佢, 而返屋企講一句英文. 學校教學方法亦好有系統. 不過如真係要有好效果, 就要家長配合學校, 學校會建議家長在家怎樣幫小朋友溫習或遊戲. 我仔仔返學都好開心.

I am going to apply KM as well.  I don't know how to choose the AM/PM class.  Could you tell me which class is your girl studying?  Any comments on it!
