Can't agree more.  The wreath, the stocking, the card, the mistletoe, the Christmas cracker, the picture frame... are gorgeous!  The Christmas concert is a true musical. The children are so talented.  They're really special.

Sandrine, your little had more to do as I can't find mistletoe and cracker in the bag... anyway they are all wonderful to me.

I've heard/read somewhere that we may buy the VCD of the christmas concert, but no further notice i've received.  Am i right?

No idea about the VCD of the concert but you should have received a DVD of the rehearsal.  The school said that the rehearsal would be taped by a pro but I don't know about the real concert.  Personally I prefer the real concert with the audience's participation.

twokidsmum: school fee is $2200/month for K1, (not sure fee for K2) no other cost at all.  No uniform required, school bag & library bag are provided by the school for free.  In case, a replacement needed, school bag costs around $25 (not sure exactly).  The school arranged phototaking in sept by a PRO what costed me reasonbly.

Kids has to bring along their own snack every school day, school will provide juice and water.

Acceptance is not affected by your choice of AM or PM.  Session offer depends on your application date.

Please be reminded:
1. NO CHINESE OR CANTONESE in school.  That means you may seek for other aid of chinese learning.

2. No primary school or any particular relations with ESF.  You need to seek primaries on your own.

I found that some KBCK parents switched their kids to ESF from K2.  Apart from the chance of getting into ESF primary, any other reasons?  

Most of the int'l kindergartens do not have interview.  Does KBCK has higher/same level of English standard, as compared with the others?

It's true that some parents switched their kids out of KBCK.  In my daughter's class, 4 boys have left in the 2nd term but there were new children joining too.  I know that one boy left for a bigger chance for ESF interview, as shared by his mom here in the forum. Not sure why the others left.

I don't think one can really comment on the English standard of KBCK as compared with others.  However, the children there do talk English to each other.  As the school is targeted towards English-speaking children, an interview is required.  Not that the school means to maintain a high English standard but rather, its aim is to provide an environment for learning to happen naturally.

所有小朋友在KBCK都是講英文的。
我的小朋友都曾經係其他ｉｎｔｅｒｎａｔｉｏｎａｌ　幼稚園讀過,其實好多小朋友在其他國際幼稚園係唔識講英文。

Bty, 請問KBCK的家長們，　如果小朋友要報ＥＳＦ小學，我地使唔使寫信去拿Ｆｏｒｍ？

It says in the ESF website that applications for Y1 should be made on application forms downloaded from the ESF website.

Ms. Kwok confirmed to me that my son got accepted by the school for the coming academic year.  I am waiting for their written confirmation.  I selected PM class for him when I applied.  :
