By the way, my friend told  me to bring along a camera to take snap shots of the school facilities for future use.

My friend (Whose little girl is in P1) told me that there are some project/small homework that mention about school facilities etc and the photos may come in handy in the future.
I guess no harm to take a few la!

hi FM, same questions as PWHPOPO, could you pls. also tell me more about SKH languages environment, teachers, homeworks, curriculums, parent involvements, etc.. Do we to strengthen their English and Putonghua skills by taking external courses in KG level?

Dear All,

I know this is not a smart question to ask since every school has its Pros and Cons....but
My son is accepted by St.Paul Co-ed and DBS..which one do you prefer? I spoke to his teachers and they said that he fits well in both school.
I am afraid that I choose the wrong school for him.

Congrats! Your boy is really smart and perform well in interviews!
In my opinion, I would still choose SPCC because
it is a Co-Ed school, believe me, I have seen how the students behave in boys' schools; in order to keep the boys behave well without girls in the class, teachers mostly quite stern with them, cos' some boys are really "active" and "smart". I also believe that it is better to grow up in a co-ed environment, not to say that SPCC's students are mostly bright and humble. As you can observe from the Open Day, their facilities are excellent. My boys love the labs and the library very much.

BTW, how does your boy feel? You mentioned that he prefers DBS more....Does he say his reasons?

Thanks for your advise. My son likes DBS because of a childish reason -6 running tracks....though he is not really the sporty type. After he went to the open day, he rank SPCC the same as DBS but previously DBS rank higher.

If your boy is good at music, definitely St Paul Co-ed.
If he is good at sports, definitely DBS.

My boy is ok at singing and speech.
Sports is terrible!
From this aspect it is obvious I should go for SPCC...but his english is a lot better than his chinese and I am worry that he is unable to catch up.

All the more reason to choose SPCC to help him improve his Chinese!
