第一步是手指對應正確，第二步加入拍子，

一開始就睇五線譜彈琴對他們來說有點困難。

各位:

我囡囡係4月開始學, 佢當時係4歲4個月, 經朋友介紹1:1上老師自己的屋到上堂, e位老師係自己購入多一個單位, 三間房三座琴(朋友話係用唻教唔同級數的小朋友), 因朋友個囝囝坐唔定老師都好有心機教所以推薦比我。

老師一開始就叫我囡囡上45min一堂, 我初初都怕太耐因我識的人都係比小朋友上30min一堂。爸爸帶囡囡去上, 老師話ok所以現在都係45min 堂。

我囡上左差不多兩個月, 佢學左1,2,3,4拍, 右手C,D,E,F,G, 左手C, B, A, G, 上兩堂學左" OLD MCDONALD HAVE A FARM"要用雙手同時按三個音, 囡囡剛剛那堂就話學左1拍停頓符,

是否太快呢

Ming2,
I also know how to play piano, but I am too impatient to teach my little kids to play cos I'm not a professional piano teacher.  So I'm sending my elder at 7 to learn from a young girl at Tom Lee and my younger at 4 to JMC.  Do you teach you kids to play? do you find any problems?  I see my kids, like me when I was a kid, do not have much interest in piano, but I still push them to learn, because I think having this skill would help them develop better coordination skills.  So it's even harder to push them to practice.  My elder son is still learning John Thompson book 1 after he has learned for 1.5 years. is it too slow? I recalled that when I was small, I was already having grade 2 exam in 2nd year.  

For my younger son, he just joined JMC at Tom Lee for 3 mths.  I still can't understand why they teach them d,r,m instead of c,d,e.  Is it better to stop that now and change back to traditional way of teaching? please advise.

你試下搵我先前講個兩本書俾囝囝試下先啦...基本上我所有年齡細0既學生,一開就學就用呢d書去學睇五線譜係冇問題架...希望你都成功啦...

Hi Ming2, thanks a lot for your advice. You're a very patient and great mom. You're right, everytime I try to put pressure on my kids, it ends up in lose-lose situation.  Yes, I think I would stay with the JMC course for at least a few more months, cos my younger son is a bit active, it's hard for him to sit still one-to-one with the teacher to learn...

我個囡囡開始學琴大約兩個月,每次老師到會係唔同既書到找適合佢彈既歌仔,然係用彩色影印歌仔(大約三首)比佢練,每日佢望到五點鐘都會自動練琴約四十五分鐘,不過老師比佢既歌仔只係每首彈兩次,其餘時間就係自己係到亂彈.但係佢好似好有興趣,希望可以保持啦!

唔好意思.. 我有少少想更正~~

其實 Tom Lee JMC 最近已經轉左新課程.... 叫 NJMC = New Junior Music course

無錯~佢地係 聽, 唱 ,再彈, 但"睇譜" 同彈琴是一齊學的(不是放到最後)...... 而且一開始就用五線譜 教, 反而 我囡上 1:1 鋼琴班時, 最初都只得 note, 無線架...
我囡 JMC & (1:1) piano course 同時兩樣一齊上的, 比較上..我覺得NJMC"睇譜"唔算弱的..

JMC 一定係唱drm.., 而且係團體親子音樂班... 我覺得彈琴先係最弱... 因miss 唔會執返D 彈琴手勢... 12人一班, 求其無彈錯, 拍子啱.. 就算數.....
好多時D小朋友都要靠家長幫手 扶助, 先搞得掂... 所以我自己上JMC 都要好留心...

btw, 我覺得 彈琴 真係好難學.. 尤其我依D上左年紀嘅C9....JMC 係慢D，但比較啱我學...

JMC係yamaha course黎,佢地係主張先聽後唱,再彈,最後先睇譜架...所以就一定係唱drm..同埋佢地睇譜會比較弱,如果你想小朋友學睇譜,最好都係學左JMC一年至年半左右就開始搵個老師單對單咁學彈琴,因為學得太耐JMC先轉單對單,小朋友會好唔習慣,或者會有少少抗拒睇譜架...

I strongly agree with you that the teacher is not too serious on correcting the posture of kids playing the piano. If the teacher do not correct them, how could me do that? my kid is not willing to listen to me : (
Besides, they don't teach rhythms yet.  Just touched on the basic like G clef and F clef. The way they teach kids to read music scores is also wrong based on my knowledge, cos they teach them to read middle C as "d". But actually, every note on the piano can be a "d".  That's why I said I'm a bit confused in the way they teach.  Now my 4 year old kid has just finished book 1 of JMC class and next lesson, the teacher will have some briefing to us on book 2.  I'll ask her my questions. If the pace is still that slow without real emphasis on music theory, I would plan to switch to traditional piano class when my kid gets to K2.  I see JMC is more like having a fun time for us to get close to kids and learn some basis of music.

我是音樂白痴 , 所以我對JMC課程內容... 都.. 無咩所謂 ~~
其實都要睇吓小朋友性格, 又要睇吓家長有無時間陪上堂...

我Book 2 開始俾我囡上埋 (1:1), 我知JMC 唔係正式學琴, 只可當係音樂班, 我又唔想佢2年後... 從新repeat 一次, 所以俾佢2樣一齊上...
我同個囡講去(學琴)練琴 咋... 有個姐姐會教佢的~~ 佢唔太鐘意 1:1, 以前學溜冰 因為搵唔到partner, 上私人班.. 上左2個月就話唔讀, 一轉左3人班.. 就話好開心..

我自己就因為覺得JMC適合我囡所以繼續囉...

- 我囡鐘意唱歌(佢考唔到合唱團)... JMC 有得唱
- 我囡鐘意我陪佢練琴, 我唔識彈琴... JMC 可教埋我
- 我囡鐘意返 課外活動, 返開都唔願停... JMC 佢要求繼續
- 我囡唔太接受 (1:1) 授課... JMC 一大班人上堂 佢好開心

其實 一心想學琴 應出去正式學, 完成Book 1 ... 應該唔好讀book 2, 我囡學琴同book 2 D 嘢都差不多.. 佢學埋 C DＥ, 都唔覺亂...
一係好似我咁.. 2樣都學, 就可以補充 JMC 的不足...

btw, 2樣都學... 會幾忙... 不過進度都唔錯的...
