Don't worry, it is a normal response as usually I show her artwork and asked "What's that" in weekly Friday,  Ching Ching usually don't have response or keep playing.  That why I feel surprise for her action today.  I believe teacher may help them to practice and told them to say this sentence for more than 10 times daily.  OKmammy, don't give up & worry, you will have your "surprise" soon as I have waited for it for 3 yrs la

yes...Ching ching ma..I agreed with you.. when I came home last night, Marcus said to me..母親節快樂 and gave me that card from school...even the 發音wasn't so good..but I still can understand what he said.  That's mean teachers really put on alot of effort on it. I'm supper Appreciated.

I need to have dinner with my husband's mother tomorrow at 6:30pm in Lam Tin Maxim restaurant.
I will be OK on tomorrow afternoon for a short activity (beach may be a bit rush for me).  What's your sch?  How about to Laguna Park for a bicycle ride....

So excited to be a "Story Ma Ma"!  Glad that they seemed happy with my short story this morning..... especially Ngai Ngai.  He had more responses to the story when I told it at school than at home before.

Really feel excited to be a "Story Ma Ma" ! I've got a thank you card attached with a photo taken by the teacher, Miss CHUNG, when I was telling story in the class. It's very memorable ! Great thanks to the teachers !!

I rang Miss Leung last week and asked whether I still can be the story Ma Ma this Thur morning at anytime. (I was too busy last week), Miss Leung was very nice she arranged this thur 11:15 for me to be the Story Mama.  So you still can try to call the class teacher to see whether they can arrange sometime for you.

I'm so excited about that. Actually I hv got alot of interesting Story to tell all the kids,  but still hvn't decided which one to tell.  Most of my story books are in English, I have to translet to chineses and make it more interesting.

Yes, is me.  I bought a pack of candies and directly gave it to 10 kids, who were arranged to listen my story, for appreciation of their concentration.  I'm not sure whether Alvina was in this group cox I was a bit tense at the beginning .  I left the pack of candies to Miss Chung to distribute to rest of the students.  If my idea to share the candies disarrayed the classroom order and caused kids be blamed.  I'm so sorry

Are you the one who give Alvina a sweet?  I think Ngai Ngai & Alvina are at the same group.  She's so happy to have the sweet but she said "Miss Chung is angry.......she punish me...........I cry"  We asked Miss Liu, she said they try to stop her from eating the sweet in class, so she cry, but last night she kept on repeating the same sentence for many times and she said she doesn't like Miss Chung!!!!

You may consider to go to the public libraries and have a look - there are many many big books which are quite good for story telling.

I received the photo printed on the certificate of appreciation last week.  It is interesting to see every smiling faces on the photo and seem that children love the story very much, esp. Ching Ching.
She negotiate with me to tell "3 stories" daily before sleep.   Seem that this activity really can encourage children to see storybook.

PS: I told "球球和鯉魚旗" story last week and I have whole set of books at home.  You can consider whether you would like to use another books inside this series.

Ching Ching Ma,
Marcus is the same, he requested 2 paticulars story that he must listen every night before he go to sleep.  At home I only have Disney Story Book like, Toy Story, Lion King, Aladdin, Murlian, Peter Pan, Pinocchio...etc....I saw the kimy.com.tw website which you quoted, this is very interesting story.  I will go to Libery this evening, just to take a look another other good story to tell.
