Not sure about the other one but so far I am very satisfied with TSL. Very open-minded and transparent. Students have lots of fun and enjoy going to school.
With regard to the academic report, the teacher said it will be distributed in the middle of January.
My guess is that it will be distributed either tomorrow or some time next week.

Principal,
Thanks!
BTW, I just wonder why the school still not yet issue
school exam report!
Sorry that I'm the future TSL kid's mom, I'm a little bit surprised that IPA will be learnt in P.4. My son is learning it now in Kindergarten. Just think it would be better to learn it earlier. (But I recall that I learnt it in F.1 and I can't remember all now.)
When parents want their children to learn better English, normally a lot of them will consider either Phonics or IPA.
Personally I guess more parents in HK will consider Phonics first and then follow by IPA.
Obviously, there will be other cases like your son's kindergarten.
I think it will be a good idea to start learning IPA from P.2 or P.3.

My son's kindergarten have the following book in the booklist:
IPA The Easy way published by Longman
It contains a vcd, showing the close up of the month how to pronounce of those sounds: vowels, consonants and diphthongs.
May not be very interesting (at least my son is willing to watch it) but helps the parents and kids to learn.
The price is ~HK$65.
Hope this will be helpful to the rest of the parents wanting to learn IPA.
