I do agree with 2ling said "take it easy la".
Strict is also what his daddy wanted, otherwise we all choose active approach la.

Thanks for reminding me too, it is one of the reason (ie no active-approach) why I chose KV rather than Yew Chung (my son studied at there for pre-nursery).

both of your mind are very clear and positive.  i believe that you and your children will get what you expect (maybe out of your expectation) after 3 years school life.       on the other hand, the students love the teachers even though they are tough.    they have very good method.

我星期五問咗老師都係話4/8放假, 因k2/k3開學, 5/8正式開學

I just order 織嘜 last night without 熱溶膠果種.

I think it is good for kid.  Your boy must be happy in Yew Chung at his early year.  
And that is why I sent him to KM or other playgroup in active / western approach.  Because I am thinking that they taste it before starting study in KV.

Just called KV, they sent letters to parents yesterday so we should receive it either today or tomorrow.
1st day - 1 Sept, just one hour, parents accompany students
2nd day - 5 Sept, pm class from 1.35 pm to 4 pm, this time schedule will last for 2 wks, no parents allowed
from 3rd week, normal school hrs

As told by Kentville parent, pe堂就一定要全白色波鞋, no 全黑波鞋.

so what is your time on 1 Sep?  is your son enjoying the summer course in Kwai Ching theatre?  my girl is doing ok in Yuen Long theatre, seemed quite happy, just 2 more lessons to go.

I got the letter this morning also and there will be no school on 4th Sep as it will be the orientation for K2 and K3 students.
According to the telephone conversation this morning, I was told that the school hours are as follows: 1st Sep -> 11:30 - 12:30, 5th Sep to 15th Sep -> 8:45 - 11:10, 16th Sep onwards -> 8:45 - 12:10 (normal). But the office girl told me that 1 parent is allowed to accompany with the kid on the first day of school only. Not even on 5th Sep already.
