Hi! My daughter is in class 1A.  She had her first English dictation yesterday on P.4 and 5 of Magic.  But she wrote down on her handbook yesterday that she would have dictation next week on the same pages.  Did she get it wrong?  Anyone has any idea?

囡囡話昨天英文黙書要黙'penfriend', 但係我見功課冇寫, 書又冇圈, 所以冇溫, 點解咁難捉摸ge ?

My daughter told me that she came across a word she did not study before.  She could not even remember what it was.  Now I know it must be "penfriend".  I saw it in the vocab writing exercise before the date of dictation.  There was a sentence "Miyuki is my penfriend".  However, I did not expect it to be one of the words to be dictated.

me too. Because my daughter told me that her teacher said it was not neccessary to dictat the word Miyuki cause it is a Jap. word, so I guess they  needed to study those words in the letter only. However, last night she told me she did not know the word "penfriend".

Hi all P.1 good hopers' parents,

I've been here more than one year I think. I seldom show up recently becoz I am quite busy at work. Therefore, I forgot my logon name and password also. Oops, yes, I forgot again to introduce myself. My daughter's also studying in Good Hope and she is in P.2 this year.

Most of P.2 good hopers' parents have same experience as yours. Of course, I am one of them. They feel helpless, do not how to ask for help, did not get classmates' telephone numbers in the parents' meeting at school and etc.

You know, most of us are working dad and mom, right. So, I think that we should need some communicate channels for those helpless parents. For example, just like this website (not bad, right) that let us come together and talk about our kids' stuff.

If you do not mind, please come to my place and enjoy the facilities there. PM me if you have interest.
