由於小一簡介會反應熱烈，報名人數過千。
原定於8月12日(星期六)在小學部舉行的兩場簡介會，座位有限，
未能容納所有家長，茲更改時間及地點如下:

地點：窩打老道香港浸會大學大學會堂
           (浸會大學醫院側)
時間：2:30 - 4:00pm

Dear Liklikma,

My son said that there were about ten candidates being interviewed at the same time.  Firstly, my son described a picture in front of the teachers and other candidates.  After that, five candidates were in one group and they were observed to make puzzle.
I think the first one is to test candidate's presenting skill, observation skill and self-confidence to speak in front of others.  For making puzzle, I think candidate is being tested their cooperation, manner, leadership and sharing skills.  The school authority does not have written tests which have already reflected in the school reports and other reference letters.
The teacher also interviewed parents when candidates were doing the test.  Standard questions for interview were asked.
For the reasons why I change school for my son have already written in previous contents.

Dear Sim,

I am not sure.  I think Chinese is taught in Mandarin and Mathematics will be taught in Cantonese in lower form and in English in senior form.  Human studies and PE are taught in Cantonese.

I think what kind of language being taught is not the main point but how the teachers motivate the student to have active self-learning is more important.  Do you find the things you learn in the primary school, secondary school and university have real application in the normal life?
Do you use integration or differential calculus in the real life?

上星期專程去學校附近看過, 好似重有好多野未整好咁!  外牆都有好多未埋尾, 係咪真係16/8 可以比d 小朋友上day camp呢?

學校無書包賣, 你地打算買咩書包呢?  我見有討論spi. sever,...... 花多眼亂, 請給意見!

Is there any kids study in 浸會大學附屬幼稚園?  

I've heard that the headmistress of 浸會大學附屬小學 told the parents in 浸會大學附屬幼稚園 that their kids' acadamic standard does not meet their primary's standard.  幼稚園 is too easy or simple to go to  their 小學.  Their chance is very low.  Is this true?  Pls clarify.  

Is the headmistress of 浸會大學附屬小學 nice or not.

My elder daugther's mother told me. That's why I want someone to clarify.

After interveiwed with the headmistress, she and her husband decided not to choose this school.

However, when my husband have a chance to meet the headmistress, he said that she is OK.

Stay calm!

I do not believe that as the kindergarten, primary and secondary schools are under the same roof.  If this is true, the headmasters have to discuss their future plan as they are in the same boat.

During introduction conference in June 06, Mrs CHAN reported that the first and second year students of the kindergarten would all be accepted.  But the third year students have to complete with other candidates during the admission interview.

睇完個TOPIC, 好欣賞校方唔歧視有問題小朋友, 因以前聽過好多學校一知小朋友有問題就說不會考慮!  就算音樂小學, 都說不收有問題小朋友, 因學校無資源配合.

is changed (from 16-18 Aug) to 29-31 Aug.
