Thanks Mami_King and dabby,

I was 15 minutes late at the ceremony so miss the briefing.  My boy is 7B so I guess the reason is he likes Sicence.  Be honest I do not see any specific talent of him, let see how GT works.

Indeed he is quite enjoy the new curriculum.

可能大家誤會左。

中學部既收生資格係要學生響某方面有特出既表現。(如中、英、數、體育、視藝等)

逢星期三的加速班，則會以各同學既專長而全級分組，然後再加強培訓。但今年只設有4科，分別係英文、數學、科學同?(sorry!唔記得邊科)。其餘學生如未能入選以上四組，則會被分派另一組，堂上老師會安排其他活動。

所以G7學生所分派既班別並無特別原因，而G8學生則以舊年報考劍橋既結果而編班。

Yes, I chose "Both" when I applied GT.  Finally, they allowed us to choose again and I selected TKO.

There is another topic for GT P1 Parents for 2007 in BK.  Some parents have asked us about the interview.  You can take a look.

The teachers are experienced.  When Ms Leung made the introduction to our new parents on last Sat, she first asked a question:  Who have their first kid who attend P1?  When most of the parents raise their hands, Ms Leung asked us to forgive her as she will be long-winded because she understood that the students are all 蒙豬豬.  So, don't worry.

As sometimes my son too relies on my maid's assistance and he does not express himself clearly, I'm afriad that he sill could not take care himself properly.

Hope I can know more about GT P1's school life in BK to reduce my worry.

今天收到學校兩份通告, 一份童軍, 一份奧數.  你地有無興趣報名, 囡囡想我參加童軍領袖.  都唔知要什麼資格, 同要付出多少時間?  是否應付得來?

奧數都好似對數學邏輯好有用, 但是學費都唔平, 係咪好多師兄師姐都有報讀.

其實, 是否一年到晚都有好多這一類型的課程通告?

I also want to know about the 奧數 course. Is it suitable for P.1 kid and will it be included in the school Maths lesson?

And will there any magazine or newspaper subscription for P.1 students and what are they?
