請問一年級的名次是怎樣計算的呢?
是否兩次test加兩次exam的平均分,還是只計final exam呢?
如果對上一次test / exam 考得唔好,是否考全級50名無望?

St.Jo兩測兩考,每次都是獨立計分,排名只是計考試分,唔計測驗分,上學期有一次排名,但只是班排名.没有級排名.
大考則會有班排名和全級排名.所以大考最重要,可以說是一次定生死.

謝謝你的回答。

因小兒一月的exam考得唔好,故上學期的班排名很差,故我在想是否現在考緊的大考就算點追都無用?因為我以為是上學期exam考的分數連同final exam一起加埋除二。

That means school activities on Sat are not compulsory? Or it has to join a ballot for the activities?

No, they are not compulsory.  There are different activities, such as, cello, violin, swimming ...etc. (too many of them that I can't remember).  No ballet seems required but possible (as I believe) if there is over subsrciption in some of the activities.

BTW, some activities (such as cello) may start at 10:00 a.m.

Take it easy, how you could survive the years to come if you are so nervous at such an early stage!  Our kids are in their Primary 1 after all.  I don't think their recent results have any bearing or significance in the future contest to SJC.

Definitely, I will concern with my son's academic performance when he is in his Primary 4 but not now.  So, just relax for the time being

Thank you for flattering this troublesome, naughty and cunning little guy who will become SJP's student two years later (subject to there being no change in government policy).  He looks like his mum.

I once used this guy's picture as icon but his face had horrible signs of bruise and swelling (caused by his own naughtiness) that complaint was received and so I changed it.

I came to consider it is about time for me to changing my icon again after having been insulted as a "poor old guy" by another member in a different topic lately

Deare Robbieyan,

If you look at the calendar, you can find there will be an Inter-class General Studies Quiz in the afternoon during 27th to 28th. Maybe this will cause difficulties in arranging only 2 days for P1 to P3, so the school arrange the whole week lo.
