Finally, we have decided to contribute to the local HK economy this year.

小女兒係上年05一06Ｐ.６畢業聽佢講同班同學個個都係讀英中，就連本來派得唔係幾好嘅同學（全班名次最尾果六個同學）後來四出扣門，全班考最尾的一個男生去伊利沙伯官立中學扣門即收，另外五個入面有兩位男生去九龍華仁扣門，面試後即收，淨下三個其中兩女生去了迦密扣門，中學校長話6Ｃ班免筆試即收，淨番全班考尾幾果個男生，去咗英華書院扣門又係即收，另外有三個女生成續（廿幾至三十幾）派位後想揾間好ｄ嘅果幾個女同學去港島瑪利曼中學扣門，面試後即收，另外有兩個男生（唔係我個女果班成績全級六十名以外）去男拔書院扣門即收，原因係佢地兩個都係有小小家底廐。今年係全直資班第二年升中，唔知派位後扣門如何呢！因為陳守仁升中學生多數都係要去英中扣門，今年新制好似話間間英中都係減少扣門位，今年扣門唔知點呢！失眠

Many thanks for your sharing of information with us.

I still have 2 questions.

1) As the school only updates the allocation result in July (i.e. a few days after the official annoucement from the government) and sometimes the result of "knock-door" may happen in August, will the ACTUAL/FINAL result be even better than what was released on the school web site?

Also, I noticed that the school will not make another update at the end of August.
Not sure whether it is because the school may not want to ask for the final result from the pupils or not, unless the pupils are willing to provide such final information to the school by themselves?

2) What kinds of secondary schools will the non-Chinese pupils go to?
Do most of them go to local secondary schools similar to the local pupils?
Or will most of them go abroad for further studies?

It will be very nice if you could share some more information with us.

I noticed that as well.

But I presume this is a typo as the 2005/2006 result can be found on the web site separately.
If the school combines the result of 2005/2006 and 2006/2007 altogether, the number of seats seems not right.

即係06-07年度，即係今年7月升中派位

男生今年派位冇上年咁好，唔知今年男生扣門如何呢！

Going by the data released on the school web site so far, yes, it seems the result for boys is slightly less favourable this year.
However, before the final result of the "knock-door" is known, we are not sure yet.

Also, the pupils are different in each year.
It could be more favourable  for girls for a particular year and better for boys for another year.
The result for boys was not too bad last year.

It is correct.  As the students have to submit the exam results of P5 as well as P6 to the EDB, two academic years are counted, ie 2005-2006 and 2006-2007.

Agree!  Besides, I think the school will release another set of data telling us the "knock-door" results, just like previous years.

Agree!

I think the content is much more important than the picture.  We can tell from the name of this piece of assignment, creative WRITING!

You are right.  In the test and exam papers, around 15% of the questions are on previous knowledge.  It does help if you keep the worksheets.

When I look at the school calendar for 2006-2007, I cannot find any date assigned for the Annual Concert.

However, I can find past photos of Annual Concert of academic year 2005 ...

Because of the grand opening of the new annex, the annual concert was cancelled.  However, it will be held in the next academic year as usual.

I still have the following curious question not answered by anyone.

What kinds of secondary schools will the P.6 non-Chinese pupils go to?
Do most of them go to local secondary schools similar to the local pupils?
Or will most of them go abroad for further studies?

Do you know any information about this?

05-06 ~ those smart non-Chinese boys went to LaSalle that's what i only know.

As far as I know, a large number of the non-Chinese graduates will go to PLK Ngan Po Ling where they can take French instead of Chinese. Many others will go to other DSS like St Margaret's where EMI is adopted.

Thanks for your information.

According to my observation, some of the non-Chinese pupils are rather smart.

Both the Chinese and the non-Chinese pupils should learn from each other their respective strengths  so as to enhance their general level as a whole.

We have heard about Mrs. Li's leaving since end of last year so there is not much surprise, though a lot of parents and pupils have given quite positive comments on her.
She is going to retire.

One parent provided the following information yesterday.

Not sure whether the news is reliable or not.  Learned from some parents and teachers that the new principal would be Mr Yeung who is now the head of PLK Chong Kee Ting Primary School.  According to the source, his leadership style is very similar to Mrs Yuen's.  Therefore, you do not have to worry much.  You may go to his school website to check out how he runs his school,

This is the only information we have heard from one source so far.
Not sure how accurate it is.

I think we better wait for the official announcement from the school shortly.
