Only the 1st round figure, not so important, I think.

Anyone knows the 2nd round figure?

I've heard from a mum whose son is in St. Jo K3 now, he is failed in the lucky draw, have to knock door.

I would like to know which type of address proof they accept, like electricity, water, gas...?  If not really 100%, I have to think ........!

The education dept. only accept electricity , gas, land line telephone and water bill as the proof. No mobile phone nor bank statement.

I think they want to reduce the chance of 'borrowing' an address law

Hi Leung_i,

No panic.  As your son is promoted to the K3, there will be a briefing conducted by the principal of the primary school on behalf of the headmaster of the kindergarten.  The principal will guide all parents of K3 students how to tackle the game.  It is certain that the primary school is desperate to admit ALL  K3 students.

There are about 320 students in primary one (40 students x 8 classes).

Subject to confirmation, my son said that his class teacher had announced the following result:

Accepted in round one: 7 (26%)
Accepted in round two: 17 (63%)
Total no. of students in his class: 27

Hi, SJ Mammies,

I have a stupid question   .  Suddenly I feel blurred on round 1 and round 2.  May I ask if round 1 takes the 越區 or the second round??

I don't really pay attention to the government policy ga.  So ..... , I am a typical "monchacha" mom ah!!!

In round 1, the living area is not a factor.  The marking scheme only covers age, religious, elder brother (existing student), old boy (father), parents working at the school, etc.

In round 2, the living area will decide which "net" should be.  St. Jo Primary is at Net 12.  90% of the seats will be allocated to the applicants living at net 12.  Only 10% will be allocated to applicants of other nets.  It is interesting that most K3 parents will move to net 12.

    I also think better move to net 12, not only to secure the place in primary, but also closer to the school, no need to spend a lot of time in travelling between school and home (a very tiring thing    )

We're living at happy valley.  I remember it's inside Net12.  Is it true?

Net 12 covers Wanchai, Causeway Bay, Happey Valley and Tai Hang.

First born: 5 marks
Catholic: 5 marks

You score should be either 15 or 20.

Even if the tough competition under the Y2K effect, my son's schoolmate in another class with 15 marks had been admitted in round one.
