We can make request to Oscar. Will we initiate or contact school principal Ms. Leung. But, by the way, we should make sure there is a no. of parents who show interest first. Will we organise first among IK2A and IK2B group first?

上星期六參觀了五邑學校, 現說出我所見到及知道的資料給各位, 如有任何錯誤，請更正。

1.校舍環境:
-較舊
-由於有蓋操場與學校一、二樓距離很近，所以較為嘈吵

2.管理層        :
-校長是很積極的人，對自己也是有要求的人
-大部份老師較年青

3.課程:
-活動教學
-採用自己做的校本課程
-相對其他小學是較為深
-方針是保底不封頂
-當日的課程示範：
中文科：        採用故事教學，老師問問題帶領學生說出自己的想法，學生主動回答，積極參與，每個學生都很渴望知道故事的結局。
英文科：採用幼聯的故事書。老師問問題先帶領學生回答，示範這堂的重點生字及句式，再安排學生分組將生字及句式寫出在大紙上，再叫學生分組出來讀出。

朋友給與的資料:
-功課深及多
-著重數學科, 以前是計double分, 現在不知道
-中文科很深, 小一已要作文
-家長們不太喜歡參加學校舉辦之活動, 所以很多都辦不成
-學生很多都要補習

星期日我參觀了世界龍崗小學, 間校舍也是很舊, 其他都暫時不清楚, 因為我去遲了, 聽不到學校的簡介會.  :cry:

Dear all,
Last day I had just contacted Ms. Leung, the school principal. She is very nice and helpful.She said she will try to arrange more schools for parents to visit esp. 70 district e.g. Ho Yat Tung. However, it is up to the school if she has any time to come to present her school. I had reflected our parents' needs esp. adjustment course for K.3 students. Ms. Leung said she has planned for the K.3 students to have site visit and class learning and also will invite the K.3 parents to share their children's adjustment in Primary school. She welcomed parents' opinions.By the way, this year sportsday venue is in Tuen Mun Sport Centre open area near Ching Shan Highway. Hoping that the weather is good for competition. The date is 25/2.Hope to see all mum soon.

Valerie 星期四晚個肚不舒服, 嘔左成晚, 所以星期五無返到學, 無得玩呀.

參觀學校件事, 仲有無新消息呀? Ms.Tsang借左錄音帶給我聽翻上星期六的簡介會, 我仲未聽完, 她真係好好, 仲留起份學校資料給我. 真係好多謝佢.

Hi Marina and dear all,
From notice, i know that company donate some gifts to school for variety. It had many counters in school from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm. Many things to buy or maybe something to eat. I think.Pm students students will join together.Parents are welcomed to come and  can buy coupons before from $50 to $100. That day students or mum can buy things for themselves. May be I can ask Ms Lee more today. Anymore want to ask ?

I also will join the function as it is meaningful. Ms. Tsang said if parents did not come together with their children at 10:30 am. The students cannot join the function alone and had to take back home. :cry:

Dear all,

I’ve asked Supervisor Tsang about visiting other primary schools in Tuen Mun’s such as schools in zone 71 and 天水圍zone 72. She herself told me international nursery may possible to contact schools if the local kindergarten’s not going to arrange site visiting. Up to now, she has several schools in her mind, Ho Yat Tung, Mrs Cheng Yan On and also one of schools in 天水圍(English & Mandarin that Supervisor Tsang said some parents also suggested to her). I think the more parents interested in giving information to Supervisor Tasng, the better chances we can visit the schools.
