係呀, 昨晚亨亨都有主動提過有一位老師 (Miss Yuen/ Miss Yu?), 到班上以英文問小朋友問題, 同keefee講的一樣.
亨亨話個老師會用英文問小朋友,  我問老師問咩?  佢話老師叫佢: "jump three times", 佢就跳了3下喎.  又話畫了個四方型, 然後指住圖畫問隔離兩位同學: "what is this?" 佢地用英文答"square"呢!

我估呢個情況唔常見.  如果唔係, 亨亨都唔會返來同我講.

I guess the report cards will be distributed on the school Christmas Party day.
I think the children are getting excited about the upcoming Christmas party on the 21st Dec.
Also, my daughter told me no need to give out Christmas cards to teachers and classmates. She said it's to preserve the resources and only said Merry Christmas to each other was enough. Probably it's the message from the teachers.

My #1 hasn't got any Maths homework on workbook or worksheets today.  But he asked me to set 10 questions on addition for him to do.  He said that this is the Maths homework and he needs to hand it out tomorrow.  Did your children ask you to do the same?

Oh, perhaps each class is a bit different.  My #1 is in K2I and he really handed in on Friday the 10 additions that I set for him to do and he got a big tick and a big Goofy sticker which he liked very much .  He said that he'd need to hand in another 10 additions on Monday (although he has Maths worksheet to do this weekend).  Anyway, I'll set him the questions again and see if he can get more big stickers.   Also, my #1 asked me to set him more difficult questions.

Hi, Mantic, How nice to meet you!  Originally, I thought nobody else at BK is in K2I.

My #1 got a max of 2 stars.  But do you realize sometimes the stars are big and sometimes they are small?  He got 2 big stars when he got his dictation all correct.  But for his homework, he usually gets 2 small stars or 1 big + 1 small stars.

Today, I've set him 10 addition problems to do.  Then he said he wanted another 10.  Then I asked him to set them for himself, while I wrote them down.  He always started his problems with 7, i.e. 7+0, 7+3, 7+6, 7+7...

Hi Mantic & Gym,

Keefe also got one pencil and one big sticker from his class teacher on last Friday.  But the reason not for present maths question paper (because he said no need prepared it when I ask him before)!  Keefe said the reason, if students got 10 times full marks in dictation then will got them wor!    

Now I am happy and too many questions la!!!!   But will keep ask him everyday.... Thanks for your sharing!

我想默書的那兩顆星星,是根據中文默書的左手面,小朋友要寫兩個單字,如果那兩個單字都答對,便有兩顆星星。
因為我囝囝有一次答錯了一個左邊的單字,那次只得一顆星。
我沒有唯意有大小之分喎。

昨晚,我出題目比囝囝,他話,唔駛啦。老師都冇叫。

但最後,我都有叫佢做到。佢今日都有交到。

我囝囝沒有額外铅筆,可能就係因為佢未能通過連續十次都"全對"

最近囝囝心散。真有點擔心!!他的中文能力稍差。
叫佢寫個"來",就會寫成"去", 叫佢寫個"拉",就會寫成"拍"。


我成日都會問佢,今日返學發生d咩,但通常佢都唔會話我知。

仲有,請問副班主任係叫做甚麼老師?她是教英文科的嗎?

Hi, Mantic / FungMm.

It's my #1 who told me about the big stars and small stars.  This is particular obvious for Maths homework.  When he did them all correctly, he got 1 big star.  When he did them also neatly, he got another small star.  When he did them really very neatly and nicely, he got 2 big stars in total.

As for Chinese dictation, I'm not so sure about the left side and the right side.  But, Mantic, I think you're correct.  When my #1 made a mistake (on the right side), like last time he wrote 青草 instead of 青山, he got 19/20+2 stars.  When he got all words correct, he got 2 stars and 2 stamps.

Anyway, my #1 doesn't care too much about stars, but he likes stickers and stamps more.
