My girl told me that yesterday, 7 students in her class were absent.  Today, still 5 students absent.

yeah, i know 7 students were absent in 1C yesterday cos i went back to do volunteer work and pass by 1C classroom and saw the board.

aiii..... Mine also did pretty bad compare in first term... like math class work ch 1-6 she got bad result law .... and i am very sad whole nite... What we can do? Help

Because the Maths becomes much more difficult this term.  I also find my girl not quite understand the new chapters.  She did her math hw with a lot of mistakes.

Finally, I decided to cut one of her drawing classes and hopefully she can spend more time to practise her piano and study.

Applied Grade one only for her this year as I don't want to push her too much.

Regarding the music festival, do we need to wait till the whole group to finish and get the mark sheet before we leave?  Approximately 11:30-11:40?  Time will be a bit tight to get back to school on time.

aiiii.... i really get mad with her and i think i have to take a long break (but of cos impossible)....

No, though it's started at 10:40am but we have to wait cos usually not ontime which my teacher told me that... so i had already told her classmistress that i think the latest i back to school is around recess time or maybe earlier ....cos after finish competition, then have to wait for the result and have lunch with her...right?

OIC.  So I should inform the classmistress that she might be late for school on Friday.
She got dictation on that day.  I must get to school asap.
No time for her to practise piano at all.  Hope she will be lucky and get 75 marks to get the certificate.

still online? well, the teacher today told me that just let her practise several times (like 3-4 times) the day before and maybe once to twice that morning is enough... See u there la ....

I wrote on the diary that she will wear uniform dress because of music festival.
Don't want to bring PE uniforms and sneakers for her to change.  Already a lot to take.

Mine need to wear sport uniform becos of the activity lei... so i have bring along that & sport shoes as well.... Luckily, my husband will take half day off to go with us, otherwise, ..... i can't imagine what i am looked like.

The piano teacher said that if she plays in her normal way, should be over 80, but if in her worst way.....
Hope she won't get nervous.

my girl's activity is Chinese dance, I think still able to dance in dress.

How's your girl's performance on stage as compared to at home?

My girl played even better than normal practise, but only got 81.  My piano teacher said that the ajudicator is a bit strict on marks as the First one only got 88 marks.  She said at other centers, the First prize winner may get over 90 marks.
I was very very glad today.  Right after she finished playing, she went to the seat next to me and said Thank you Mum for bringing me to the Music Festival!
At first she did not like to play piano and it seemed that I was forcing her, but now she started to enjoy playing piano and  even thank me for this

I think I know who you are cos we daughter both say hello to each other at their seat but maybe u don't know and my girl told me that the girl is in 1C. So i'm sure you are bobocute law.... Do u know who i am... i am wearing a brown cardigan ....well, mine got 80 and i agree what you said the adjudicator is very strict and she doesn't like to hear the high low sound  .... Even i heard that the performance of those girls who have position not that good, so really don't understand her judgement. Anyway, it's pretty good experience for them. My daughter require to join again next time. hahahahah

I am a bit confused this morning.  What did your girl wear?  What is her order no.?
I heard 1 SH students playing, but she seems big and not P1 student.  And I saw one wearing sports jacket outside.
I remember my girl talking to a girl sitting behind her when it's almost her turn...  that's your girl, right?  But I don't see her face.  
Anyways, nice to meet you.

The ajudicator did not care about the tempo much, and high low.   My girl also want to join again.  It's fun for her.

Yes. She is order 61.

I quitted one of my girl's drawing class on Wed, but I added another drawing class for her today....
I only planned to visit her old drawing teacher, but she was so eager to learn chinese painting and I paid for her.
So basically I just switch her class from Wed to Sun, and from an inconvenient location to a nearer place.
I found it hard to quit her activities as she just wants to learn everything.
The Math and Chinese are getting harder and harder.  Always need to catch up with everything.

After music festival, there will be school test in Apr, Ballet exam and school exam in June, piano exam in Aug-Sep, busy life.

My elder girl was sick last weekend, and it's my younger girl's turn this weekend.  She slept all day today, except for about an hour up to take her 3 meals.:cry:
