Can I have a copy from Singtao about Pegasus, thanks.  Cos I seldom assess to singtao newspaper!

Maria, I sent my girl and picked her up yesterday.  Felt very comfortable with the school's arrangement.  Impressed to receive the phone call from teacher too.  It is also fun to hear my girl keeps on singing her class song and slogan.

BTW, which day are we supposed to wear P.E. uniform?  Should it be "drama day"?  and or???

我們很相像啊.  我的小兒是K2 全日班, 因為考慮到家中除菲傭外無人在家照顧, 所以給他讀全日班, 多些發展的機會.

老大第一天上學的情形, 聽陳老師說他坐不住, 專注力不夠, 會玩手....好像都是負面的消息  :cry:

我進一步問老師, 每堂課是40分鐘嗎?

老師說:由於是第一天上學, 有很多事要交待,所以時間較長, 約1-2小時一堂.

其實我蠻清楚Taylor 的個性, 對他的學習吸收力還有些信心, 但是,第一天上學, 就要他乖乖坐在椅子上1-2小時, 的確對他有難度, 妳的小孩沒這個問題嗎?

至於食物方面, 有雞翼白飯, 他就滿足了, 回家後還說要像其他同學一樣帶飯, 不用加熱也無所謂.

最近Taylor 有點拉肚子, 我恐怕他午餐吃多了.
今早下雨, 再加上他出了門後, 又說肚子痛, 折返家裏上廁所, 折騰一陣後, 再出門, 等了半小時都攔不到Taxi, 就遲到了...

你們孩子要幾點起床? 幾點出門? 睡的夠嗎?

仔仔回家後佷少主動講學校的事(只是時不時彈一兩句),每日都要我審犯似的問他在學校的種種,知道老師叫他上堂時不要太多咀,how about Taylor?

妳住哪區?如近MTR,搭地鐵會快過搭的士(不用等車和塞車)。我仔仔並沒有拉肚子,可能他不是食很多(as usual),和學校的食物尚算clean. Hope Taylor's tummy is getting better.

My son (Daniel) sleeps at around 10pm and wakes up at around 7am. He leaves home at 7:55am (I drove the kids to school for the first few days and from now on my husband will drive them to school on the way to work). He arrives school at about 8:20-8:25am. But Priscilla (my daughter) has to wait for half an hour before the class begins. They both seem to have enough sleep. Does Taylor get enough sleep?


另參加了统一物資是否也需要買美勞用品?妳有冇為Taylor預備?班主任話只需帶空盒回校,但Daniel話只有他在上水墨畫時沒有apron等用品。    其他小一家長知唔知呢?

Hi, Maria,

I live in YMT. It's quite far from school. Taylor always go to bed after 11:00pm and he can't get up earily also. I have to work hard to wake him up every morning.    

We have to departure to school at 7:30 by MTR. Both of them walk very slow (just like turtle). I have decided to take Taxi instead of MTR every morning. So we will no need  so hurry. (I've ordered the 20% discount taxi now)

Taylor mentioned about the "rule" sandwich. It is an idea from the teacher to teach them follow the class rule.

I joined the planning & also prepared the painting tools for Taylor(such as scissor, color paper, glue, crayon, apron, clay...).  Teacher told me that we have to prepare the tools.

Taylor 也未學會何時該閉嘴. 根據老師的說法, Taylor 有說不完的話題/問題, 所以, 老師告訴他, 走路時嘴巴應用拉鍊關起來. 可以想像, 小孩子們仍未懂得守規矩, 所以, 面對一群吱吱咂咂的孩子, 老師是很辛苦的.

我也要千方百計詢問他學校的生活, 他也是難得說上一句. 但由於他從星期一就背了美勞工具在書包, 到今天, 我問他, 很重啊, 為何不放到工具箱內, 就不用每天背了, 他回答說: 太忙了, 沒時間... 可能由於要跑堂, 有時4樓, 有時禮堂,小息時又忙著玩, 所以... 真是傻的可以.

Dear A-May and Maria,

I was extremely busy last week and couldn't get a chance to write.
Coincidently, it was also the first week of the full school term, I was kind of frustrated cos I was not expecting so many home readings, projects etc, etc.  To my girl, I don't think she has pressure in adjusting to new school and home work style, cos she feels that home reading is not homework, and projects are just hand-crafts.  Even though during weekend she told me she want to go back to kinder and re-start K1.......Anyways, I am sure she will get indulge in primary school life later on.  

To me and her dad, we both feel that we are encountering some pressure to finish up the reading within the week.  Though we know it is good for kids.  Anyhow, parents need time to adjust too.  

My husband and I will be joining the meeting on wednesday.  Any chances to meet up.  Any sign to know we "know each other"?   

About class, I think my girl has close interaction with 2-3 boys and 4 girls, anyhow, she is at times social, but manage to behave in class, according to her class teacher.  She complained some of the boys are too talkative and class teacher will scold the boys.  And she is not happy.  :)
